- Lisa Wilkinson has addressed media outside Federal Court, moments after Bruce Lehrmann's defamation case against her, The Project, and Network 10 was dismissed.
Wilkinson stated that she hoped today's verdict will give "strength to women around the country."
"Today the Federal Court has found that I published a true story about a rape in a federal minister's office in Parliament House, in March 2019," Wilkinson stated.

I served her years back at Celine in Sydney Westfield . She was so rude and impatient because she had a cab waiting for her downstairs. Paints a picture of her entitled character

She believed a victim of grape. And provided the support and unwavering loyalty for this victim. She’s been found to have had valid cause to do so.
What the judge said about Wilkinson, was comparable to what a judge would tell a mother who won a trial against someone who injured their child and the judge said ‘you won the case and this person harmed your child, yet who ever told you that the post exposing the perpetrator on social media with that child’s photo, was poor advise and you probably shouldn’t have posted it’.
He also said that getting a personal lawyer before giving public support of Higgins Wilkinson at Logies showed prudence
@@poeravaat the end of the day this is a civil trial. The judge is entitled to his own opinions but Bruce has never been charged.

I think the judge gave a wrap over the knuckles to all of them except for the witnesses who provided contemporaneous corroborative evidence. And it was probably well deserved. Hardly a glowing endorsement.

I'm no expert but it's pretty scary that a citizen can be found guilty of a crime on just one person's word in a discrimination case. What does this mean for justice for the rest of us??
Someone ruled to have likely graped someone else be one of our best judges and your thoughts are self protective and at risk.

I’m a male and I felt like we have a safer community with this ruling.
Have a read of the judges conclusions perhaps instead of just jumping to conclusions, thats how we form rational and considered opinions. You do believe you form your opinion through a rational assessment of the facts yes? Then prove thats how you do it.
