To be honest, check ebay! American Muscle sells the ecoboost gauges with vacuum and boost on one side, if you are not boosted it's not rally worth $400 just for the gauges!
Great insight, wonder if the light colors can be changed, on a non my color 2020 EB base model? I got the gauges done, but would like to change their light to blue, maybe by changing the bulbs in the gauge itself? Have anyone tried that before? If so what size bulb is needed?
@@aftermathgarage Thanks for the reply, I appreciated. Thinking about taking down mines to take a peek inside, I forgot to do that during the install and rushed it a little bit. But I'm hoping that they had bulbs instead of soldered LEDs that would make life ezier but I can do it either way, done a lot of precision soldering in the past. I will post the results, but also I'm thinking I can just put blue tint material on the glass, that would be faster and ezier just got to cut and trim to fit.
nice video been debating the install myself, ive read oil pressures need to be programmed because they do not match your driver cluster, can you confirm this? also have you had any issues that would make you regret this install?😢
Oil pressure matches perfect on mine, that signal is the same from the dash to the gauges! The only regret I have was I didn't pop the top of the trim in first, so I had fitment issues at first!! But now they are awsome!! I'll pop those in to one of the daily vlogs from PITS in two weeks
So that is a good question! None of the premium models got the gauges, only the performance packs! But my buddy has a premium without my color, so I'm not sure if his would change colors or not!! That's definitely an awsome question!!
@@aftermathgarage yea brother, i found a few of the gauges to buy but they are all from not premium cars, I was wondering if the colors are built into then already and if the gauges are exactly the same and the my color is built into all of them but only active from premium cars, O dont wanna buy one and the colors dont work, very annoying, cant seem to find the answer anywhere
The plug is not there on the 2015 to 17 models! I have seen here on RUclips that people are wiring them into the back of the factory radio, I'm not sure how to do it though! Wish I could have been more help to you
the plug is on 15 to 17 models. it depends on your trim. premium models are known to have the harness (mine included). 6 Speed cars are more likely to have it as well. Its on 5.0 and ecoboost models. I do not believe the v6 model has at all. There was no PP option for the V6 and they likely never used the harness. This i could be wrong on 15 models typically require you to convert the oil switch to the 3 wire oil sensor on PP cars to have the oil gauge work. the ECU also needs to be switched to tranducer. Then the gauge will work alongside the vacuum. 16 and later years have the 3 wire sensor by default and dont have this issue to overcome.
God yes I did!! I had to trim some on the side closest to the instrument cluster, it was that fake leather stuff holding it back, also found out that if you pop it in from the top first, it fits perfectly
Does anyone know if the wire is there on 300a cars? I know you said all 18+ models but just want to double check since I don't have any options in mine lol
YES IT WILL!!! And a freaking great addition to the base car!! You can pretty much do what you want in these cars!! Only downside is my color!! You can't get that unfortunately
Amazing work
Thank you!!
thanks for the video= now to find the trim and gauges.

We tried going through Forscan and turn on the mycolor feature on another car, but we need more insight to it!

Bro i have an answer,
on my mustang gt 2020 you believe i will have the plug to connect the pp gauges?
Thank you
Yes 100% will, all 2018 to 2023's have it
@@aftermathgaragethanks bro
Good thing someone told you to put led map lights in the car lol
Screw off!! LOL!! Yeah I am glad you got me to put those in! Don't worry though, new camera setup in bound!!
Don’t you know if this works in a ecoobost 2015?
You can but I couldn't tell you how! The 2015 to 17 Mustangs are not pre-wired
Great vid!! Can you let me know where you got the 4-hole dash piece?
I bought it off of Vtuned on RUclips
How did you remove the connector for the gauges? I can’t figure it out currently doing this on my 21 mustang
To be honest, I don't remember! LOL!! I honestly think I took a small flat head screwdriver and pushed it back
I wonder if it matters if you have a auto or manual and if its the same for California special version gotta look tomorrow 😀
As long as it's a 2018 to 2023, it don't matter auto or not!!! We are about to do a 10r80 car as well!!

Do the gauges have to come from a premium car for the colors to work or as long as your car is a premium model they would work?

I would take a wild guess and say that they are my color! I can't see them having different gauges with out them!!
I wanted to know is this available for the 2015 5.0 V8 or 3.7 V6 ? and if not how do you wire it ?

@@itstommylovehey brother , I have a 15 gt premium , do you know if this trim have the plug? And also if your oil gauge working?? Regards
I’m trying to do this to my 2020 gt. Anyone know the part number for the gauges. I’ve seen a few different gauges by ford with different part numbers
There should only be 2, the ones with the ecoboost engines have a boost gauge with the vacuum gauge
Hello friend
Do you know if the gt350 gauges fits to mustang gt 2020 model?
Thank you
I'm pretty sure they will! They are the same gauges
@@aftermathgaragethank for your answer bro
where di you get the trim piece and guages?
Facebook market place, they actually came out of a car VTuned was parting out
Hey man I heard oil pressure does not work until you program it. Could you verify that it does work ?
Oil pressure works great on mine!! Never have had an issue with it!!
Have you had any issues with the gauge trim popping out or holding in place after cutting out all the plastic?
God yes I did!! I had to trim some on the side closest to the instrument cluster, it was that fake leather stuff holding it back, also found out that if you pop it in from the top first, it fits perfectly
I have another question. Do I need to buy a dash kit for it that has the performance gauges and if I do. Do u have a link for it
Yes you have to buy the dash panel and the best way to get the whole dash panel is to check ebay to be honest!
Hey Body do you Think That works For My Must To Thousand Sixteen GT
It's not that east in a 2016, there is some kind of wiring that needs to be done to make it work
Does anyone know if the wire is there on 300a cars? I know you said all 18+ models but just want to double check since I don't have any options in mine lol
Yes they all have the wire
Do u think the ford dealership would be able to install this for me. I feel like if I’m doing this ima mess up lol
Probably not to be honest! Believe it or not, the a lot of the Ford techs don't know that the plug is even there! Where are you located?
@@aftermathgarage damn that sucks. I live in indiana
Did you cover the middle air vent
The gauges them self will fill in where you cut!! No air comes out and is pushed to the two outer vents
I jave a 2018 base manual, will my car have this harness?
YES IT WILL!!! And a freaking great addition to the base car!! You can pretty much do what you want in these cars!! Only downside is my color!! You can't get that unfortunately
@@aftermathgarage thanks!! If I end up doing it I'll make a video!
Do you have issues with the vent closet to the wheel? Mine kept popping out on instal
Yes I did, cut some on that side of the dash and you will be good to go!!
Do both gauges work
Yessir and very well too!!
Do all the gauges have my color? Do u have to get a one out out a premium car?
Yes they all have my color thank God!!
Did you end up having to use a Dremel? or can I get away with using a knife?
Either, I ended up using some tin snips!! Triple check fitment! I had to go back in on the driver's side vent and cut some more out!
Nice 👍
Thank ya sir!! I've had some fitment issues, but they are perfect now!!
where did you buy it from
I found it on Facebook market place. Come to find out I bought it off of another youtuber. I've seen them on ebay though as well
Is changing this dangerous for the car?
Not at all!! Gives you more important information that you need to watch!! Oil pressure for sure
Hey man where did you find the trim with the 4 holes ? I’ve been looking everywhere
I actually found everything on Facebook market place!! VTuned another youtuber was selling it
