Glad you like them. I only finished enough to make gifts for the holidays this year. Maybe next summer I'll find enough time to make some for sale.

That’s nice thanks for ur video. I would have liked to see the sides and the back of your finished product. Did you carved out a groove around the stone to secure the wrapping wire?

    • @therockgarden1

On a majority of my cabochons thus far, I have carved a groove around the edge. I use a glass cutter with a thin line bit. When I first bought the bit, I ground a groove into a rock and tested the depth with my wrapping wire. Once I was satisfied with the depth, I put a sharpie on the top of the router disc to mark how deep I needed to make it, and that line has served me on my future cabochon grooves. I will work next summer to show the sides and back as I make more. Right now it's just a bit too cold!

Was wondering if you have a process of selling what you make like the wrap as well

Hi James - I currently do not sell any of my cabochons. I do it as a hobby and give them away as gifts. I may consider selling them in the future if I can build a large enough stock. I appreciate your interest, and I'm glad so many people enjoy my hobby with me!
