I don't agree with Ethan being scum i mean yes i guess you could say he is because he did cheat on his wife but Gwen isn't any better the only reason Ethan married her is because she sent the email revealing his true paternity to the tabloids and framed Theresa for it just to break him and Theresa up but Gwen knew when she married Ethan that he was still in love with Theresa he was the whole time so maybe she shouldn't have married him in the first place she claimed to love Ethan but she revealed his paternity and cost him everything and hurt him just to break him and Theresa up so she is scum too
and not only did Gwen betray him by revealing his true paternity she lied to him for years about it and i know Theresa did some bad things too trying to win Ethan back but in my opinion none of it would have happened if Gwen hadn't revealed Ethan's paternity because him and Theresa would have been married then Theresa wouldn't have done all the crazy things she did and Ethan wouldn't have been able to cheat on Gwen Gwen started the whole vicious cycle of events when she sent that email and framed Theresa and then later on towards the end of the show she actually was willing to let her own son die rather than let Ethan find out that little Ethan was his son how can any mother do that that is the worst kind of scum
But that was a good point that Gwen did give Ethan chances to get out of their marriage and he didn't take them and that was stupid of him it wasn't fair to Gwen Theresa or Ethan what he was doing staying with Gwen and telling her that he didn't love Theresa when he did everybody knew it
Considering how many times Ethan went along with Gwen taking Theresa's children. Jared was the better man in comparison. Wish Theresa had stayed with him and used this to get her daughter back.
This is the second times that right after Ethan & Theresa been together Ethan want to go back to Gwen. Theresa should have let Ethan go the first time he walk away from her when she was pregnant with Little Ethan. Ethan get Theresa hopes up and walks in and out of her life.
