Online only - no thank you. Just look at what Ubisoft did with The Crew. The game however has a lot of potential, especially with bringing back the Ibiza and adding houses.
Tdu2 was about the vibe of a lifestyle you wonder around you find dealerships you find Jaguar you go you buy an old classic one then you find Ferrari showroom you buy another classic one you go to your boat house to check the collection 😢thats what testdrive was about for me
Yup... This is boring and sterile. Has no soul to it. Great idea with the Hong Kong island, but they lost touch with the dream at some point and stopped chasing it
Im sorry, but this game looks like something that shouldve come out 10 years ago. The graphics, the physics or lack there of and the gameplay dont look like anything special. If its made for mobile or switch i take back what i said. But for a pc or console game, this just doesnt look like it cuts it.
I like how this format is either " Watch this for comfort after you already bought it" or " What are you doing?, you gonna spend your hard earned cash on THAT?" :)
I would like to warn buyers a bit futher - the game is near unplayable at the moment! After yesterdays maintenance your game often gets stuck when you buy upgrades for your cars, requiring a restart which often gets stuck at the loading save game stage, and wether or not you get in, your progression is only saved for some people, not everyone. Saves not working is also something the game tells you in a popup that takes focus every couple minutes for a while, until it just shuts up about it. One of the things to do in TDU is to explore all roads (like the old ones), but since your progress is set back every once in a while, you can't even do that. Also the driving aids Falcon showcased in the video don't tell the full story. In the stock Corvette C1, if you turn everything off except the semi auto gearbox, you're still limited to 3000rpm in first gear until you reach city speeds or so, and in races the only launch control I've found is to full throttle and as soon as the tires spin quickly let go of the throttle and hammer it again. Also the AI while bad at driving seem to have glue on their tires sometimes, whereas a Mercedes SL has a longer stopping distance than an old Beetle. It just makes no sense. Also a 2CV with over 100hp is unable to do a first gear wheelspin. In short - wait a week or a month and check the patch notes before investing. At the moment the title just does not work. Edit: Regarding the setting - I find it odd that the locals seem to drive almost exclusively upper class cars and most npcs seem to be imported americans. If this island is placed in Asia, I'd expect some locals to look the part.
Racing games shouldn't be so lifeless. There are no npcs no matter what. If it's open world, where are the people? Makers should take this into consideration very well and find an intelligent way to handle npcs in the racing games.
I'd be okay without the people but the severe lack of NPC traffic in the city, during the middle of the day, is one of things that put me off this. I get you don't want realistic jam-packed roads for a racing game but this is Crew 2 levels of empty.
And traffic.. older racing games I can understand as hardware was limiting then .. but now? It’s like there’s even less traffic than older gen games it’s so stupid. So tired of games like The Crew where roads feel so empty
PS2' with PS3 and Xbox360 we got introduced to DLC and microtransactions, online locking and niclediming nonsense so as waiting for games to be patched instead of released finished day one, which all killed gaming in the 1st place mind you XB360 wasnt even a thing in most places around the world, it failed on the world market since all consoles fried Sony thought they can pull the same thing with PS3 but when Microsoft was banned on lots of the markets Sony at least they learned on that mistake and started making better consoles to not end up the same way PS4 was the last hope and they ruined that chance too Nintendo, wtf is even Nintendo ... havent seen that overpriced outdated trash since forever, I guess only in MuricaFY toxic waste can be called a product and sell my guess is you are too young to not know better, the only gaming bloom we ever had was with PS2, period, with mods it was the ultimate multimedia system you can get, reliable for cheap too, heck a modded PS2 was my 1st PC even
I miss when TDU2 came out, it was amazing cruising with my online friends, creating clubs, playing at the casino, it's still my favorite game after 13 years. I really miss it
The team that made this game did not understand what Test Drive really meant. this feels like horizon with more difficulty to get cars. the goal that they should aim for is the lifestyle. racing is only part of it because of the cars. but it should not be the selling point
This is same with all the game developing companies. EA, Ubisoft are the prime example of that. Being a fan of racing games it really disappointing that they use OG game title and put no effort in that.
Somewhere deep inside this game seems to be a decent racing game. But for me and many other fans of the series, Test Drive was never really about racing. Test Drive was a ‘from poor to rich’ lifestyle simulator where you could pursue many different activities. Racing was only a small part of it. For me, TDU SC completely missed the mark.
"TDU to a tee"? Apart from not doing vehicle delivery jobs, taxi jobs, walking into clothing shops for your avatar, visiting unique dealerships or upgrade shops, no looking for properties that you liked the location or look of to save up for and then being able to furnish them the way you want and have your friends drive over and meet up their. Apart from all that it's tdu to a tee.....
@@Sting79 Almost every freaking racing game has races and speed traps. Test Drive unlimited is all the little side missions (delivery missions, convoy, taxi, adrenaline...), the shops scattered all over the map, beauty clinics, hairdressers, clothes shops, estate agents and houses.
@@Veyron_fanholy crap dude I remember the taxi jobs 😂😂 do you remember the struggle to unlock the police cars and chase criminal players? I loved that 😂
The first Test Drive Unlimited was my escape as an angsty teen. It allowed me to go for a drive before I had my driving license. I'll never forget cruising around in my Spyker C8 or the Ferrari F430, top down, no goal, just endless miles. TDU2 was flawed in many ways but at least it captured the essence of TDU. This one seems too obsessed with the whole online / live service thing. I'm not getting it anytime soon. I'll be keeping an eye on developments and probably will give it a shot in six months or so.
it's mindblowing to me that nobody saw this coming. Kylotonn (KT Racing) has been squandering the WRC license for what feels like a decade. They proved year after year they couldn't learn from their mistakes. Every year the same game with little to no technical progress. Everybody has been hyped for this game since reveal, but if people would've dug a little deeper they could've seen the writing on the wall.
people and hyped doesn't go together in most cases when it comes to these games, these are bots and mentally impaired mutants rather then anything else who get "hyped" and support this
Meanwhile Ubisoft just announced The Crew 2 and Motorfest get offline patch lol I heard that's because of some boycott petition. Which is good. Every game should be like that. And online trophies should be automatically unlocked in every game when they be closed.
The real deal breaker here is the online-only, knowing full well what happened to The Crew 1 (The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest got an update to be to play in offline enabled mode, to “ensure long-term access to both titles”). Would rather play Test Drive Unlimited 2 on my ROG Ally X via RCPS3.
Midnight Club LA was so ahead of its time, I'll never forgive Rockstar for cutting the franchise. The customization, the world design, the feeling, all of it was just so good. Even to this day there aren't many car games that can hold a candle to MCLA's customization.
test drive is a classic so ill give it a try Its crazy cuz Im 31 and definitely can safely say our generation grew up with the best racing 🏁 games i pray this generation gets at least one great racing game 💯
As someone living in Tokyo, where the car culture still exists like you think of Need for Speed Underground times and Fast and Furious1 and 3. It's sad to see no one did the culture and underground scene really justice for way too long. It should be an easy concept since there is tons of reference already.
I've been waiting since Test Drive Unlimited 2, a game that I can still play whenever I want by putting the disc into my 360 and I've been able to come back to for 13 years despite being long delisted. So hearing this is online only definitely isn't a great feeling.
TDU World revives the TDU2 online features on PC and PS3 if you want to check it out. TDU2 is pretty easy to run on any kind of computer these days so no need for an expensive setup
The physics of TDU 2 was too arcady for my taste, try drive down a dirt road in an SUV there's no suspension movement at all. TDU1 can be tuned to be more simulator like, especially if you unlocked the hardcore mode.
@@Zoalak Arcady means unrealistic which means bad for me. I want my video game cars drive like real cars, I want realistic suspension\tires and damage simulation, the only game that currently satisfies my needs is BeamNG.
Despite all of the mixed reviews, i absolutely adore this game in every way. The gameplay feels so new and refreshing in comparison to recent big car games such as Forza, NFS, The Crew. Bringing something to the table i personally was unaware I was needing from a car game. It has such nostalgic old school vibes, the mix between the simulation and arcade racing game is perfect for me. Yes maybe it’s online only, maybe the damage models are mediocre, but it makes up for it in so many ways. Considering I didn’t play any of the previous Test Drive games, being able to get out of my car and into dealerships, or walk around my apartment makes up for anything this game lacks, something I greatly appreciated from the crew games. If you’ve made it this far, please give this game a chance!!
Amen, the game is kinda getting hatred bandwagoned but par a couple issues with the AI I'm finding the game really refreshing and fun. The handling is so good, can't get enough lol

For me as a TDU fan, I can say that “buying a car and not getting any for free” is normal, at least I value my cars a bit and drive them a bit longer - get to know them. Having 30 cars for free is… well… useless? The thing that made me not even consider this game is “always online” mechanic. I want to buy a game and enjoy it even years later, like the original TDU I am playing now. Why should my money spent on a game depend on when a company decides to shut down the servers?
Yeah, I actually did not like that Forza Horizon hands out cars left and right. I di love Horizon games but having easy cars kinda bored/overwhelmed me fast.
As someone who's lived in HK for nearly 15 years, the claims of 1:1 HK Island accuracy is pretty abysmal., not only does it not nearly match 1:1 roads or areas with any degree of accuarcy, maybe for certain landmarks (essentially skips the entire area where the Wan Chai Computer Centre / MTR station / footbridge is and jumps from CWB to admiralty, for example), perhaps this is also due to the fact they also didnt pay to get any brand names as store fronts so you get tons of bad fakes pretending to be the real thing..... plus it makes these imaginary hubs which obviously takes place of real locations, gameplay isn't great either, sad as I was hoping it would turn out well ☹
@@maidoll_fei Agreed! For the time it was quite impressive, sure it skipped areas too, but it wasn't trying to claim it was 1:1, sleeping dogs even had the circular pedestrian footbridge south of SOGO in Causeway Bay, if I remember correctly....
10:39 Agree with most your video EXCEPT this section. Forza throwing cars at you has somehow made it seem normal to get any car for free. In a normal world, you should have to WORK to EARN your cars. Forza’s main complaint is how unattached you grow to your cars bc you get a new one every 15 minutes. Grinding to earn a car is how you should have a driving game. This was true in previous TDUs as well.
What kills me is the fact that they really had the delusional audacity to say Solar Crown is a competitor of Forza and GTA 6. I'm still trying to figure out where and how.
So, I’ve been burning rubber in The Crew Motorfest with my trusty steering wheel pretty regularly, and I’ve been on the lookout for a fresh racing game that’s got the same oomph-you know, something that can really keep me in gear. But I’m not into the Forza games. They just don’t hit the apex for me. When I first saw this game, I thought, "Alright, maybe this one’s got the horsepower I’ve been waiting for." But, to be honest, I thought it was coming out next year! I wasn’t even checking my mirrors for it, so I kind of forgot all about it. Then I slammed into this Before You Buy video-and let me tell you, it brought me back to reality faster than slamming the brakes mid-drift. The excitement went from full throttle to engine failure real quick. I was all revved up for something new, but after watching this video, it feels like the game just couldn’t keep up the pace. I’m already in the driver’s seat with Motorfest, so why hop into a clunker? Looks like I’ll downshift and stay in my lane on this one. My steering wheel’s staying locked into Motorfest for now!
Yep that’s a very good honest review.. I was really hoping this game would be really good as the previous ones. I can’t say they didn’t put a lot of work into it but it should have gone the extra mile for everyone. It does feel very bland as you say, the location is good and some parts of the island do look great but as you said some of the city parts does look like PS2 gen and overall gameplay will feel non rewarding too I think. It’s such a shame but thanks for this good review 🙂👍😎
Appreciate their devotion to making a supposedly 1-1 recreation of Hong Kong Island (where I live) but the aesthetics (the buildings, foliage, etc) are just off in so many ways. Doesn't really look like home to me. Very weird that there are no people on the street. Also graphically it looks like it's from the early PS4 era. But hey I'll probably buy it when it's discounted $5 out of sheer curiosity.
11:00 I like this about TDU. Gone are games where you actually have to earn your cars. Its nice to see a game where cars have to be worked for unlike Forza where everytime you fart you're gifted an X class Bugatti.
@@rajder656 GT is a simcade, and it hurls cars at you The "Forza tosses cars at you" crap is just an annoying internet trope. Car X nor Crew do this, and Forza really doesn't except early game.
@@rajder656 well FH5 has more cars than any of those games, so yeah lol. FH5 has nearly 900 unique cars The game doesn't hurl hypercars at you tho. It does give out alot, but it's usually low-mid range stuff from rolls, or from playing the festival Playlist. For example, ford raptors seem to be a favorite.
As someone who just baught the game for the chance to explore hongkong I'm pretty satisfied with it. I like the interior camera and turn signal, hazards, head lights, windows, windshield wipers, and roof opening for convertibles. I like the mirrors actually work though it's only a 15 FPS ps3 view. Better than the Crew and NFS. It's a shame the graphics are out dated but It looks better than need for speed hot persuit and the Crew 2. Its a big map with tons of roads. I love the map tracking your exploration and giving lots of exp for it. I've done zero races on the main island and am level 26 from just exploration alone. It's worth picking up. It looks way better at night so I usually play something else and wait for the sun to go down.
I wish a dev would make an open world racing game that's more like an MMO with a lot of stuff to do in the open world. Getting out of your car would be so perfect for car meets and shows or just normal stuff like buying properties and walking around your house/garage. I think that would be super popular. These type of games only ever get like 10% there and everything else is about racing. Imagine if artists could own their own shops where they sell liveries they created or tuner garages for people good at that. Clubs, dealerships, track days, etc. A game for car lovers, but still more like IRL when it comes to how you interact with the world and players around you. Huge list of vehicles, well designed handling, good music, deep character creator, lots of cosmetics, race when you want, chill when you want, etc. 🙏
ah man i remember loving test drive as a kid. used to cruise around in a number of different vehicles and just loved it really. can't see myself liking it now as a 30 year old man but good for those who do! i think once you can actually drive or have driven real life supercars it's just no longer interesting to do so on a console, i find anyway
My first EVER 3D game for the Playstation was Test Drive Off Road. I was amazed at that time. So much fun. Then my brother bought Test Drive 4 and that completely blew my mind! I played it for years
I SEE THE BOTS ARE OUT IN FORCE ALREADY. I was under the impression that this game would be like a photo realistic kinda graphics. This is nothing like what they claimed it to be it looks janky as heck
I loved TDU 1 & 2. I still play them, I'd play them more often if it wasn't for my 360 sounding like a jet engine taking off. But I love driv8ng around in my cars and exploring the islands. The whole reason I play these games is to enjoy the sights and explore. This sounds stressful and I'm looking forward to Ibiza coming back for the second season, but I miss the housing, clothes shops, garages, etc... but making it online only makes me regret preordering this.
I loved Test Drive 2. I got into it once it was largely forgotten and it's still fun to mess around with. The online-only aspect of SC is worrying, of course, especially in light of what Ubisoft did with The Crew. Hopefully that won't be an issue here but we don't really have any guarantees, do we?
I think the thumbnail is hilarious. This “Before you buy” thing has gotten to a new level of hilarious for me with this car slapped on sideways as the head 😂😂😂
honestly, I'd say that the recently released version of carx street might be a decent fit for anybody who wants that sort of experience. AI voices and assets, and poor pc optimisation aside, it's honestly a pretty enjoyable street racer that borrows alot from NFS, but also some of the old Genki games, and there are some really fun touge style roads in the game too. I's also under 20$, making it a pretty great buy, IMO. also, can't wait to see if falcon covers the new Tokyo Xtreme game that was announced for next year
It’s sad to see people not liking the game, don’t get me wrong, I understand why, but it’s a game I want to see succeed because the idea is there and I know that with time it could become and awesome game. You can see the developers want to add a bunch of cool stuff in the future like casino, new locations, maybe bring back properties, etc. All great Ideas that might not see the day because of the lack of sells or popularity it will get… the problem these days is that games can come out but are not finished and I understand that maybe some smaller companies need this to have a budget to continue to make the game bigger and better as I’m sure it must be really expensive to create games these days since it takes so long to make because of the always growing technology that must be learned and the higher standards of graphic and of everything actually… but a great concept with great ideas can easily be drowned, abandoned and forgotten because the hype was there but then it wasn’t and they missed the train as first impression is mostly everything… anyways, I do hope they’ll be able to achieve everything they want to achieve because I’m sure it could become something awesome.
The player base is making their problems with the game well known. All the devs need to do is look at the subreddit or the comment sections of videos to see the predominantly bad opinion on always online
First off Burnout Paradise is THE open world racing game. That being said test-drive 5 on psx is what the series was at its best imo the feel of the speed and inertia of the car the tuning and visual customization options the level design tracks and secret alternate paths the oppositional other racers pedestrian traffic and the immersive weather system. without that specific mix of components it is not a test drive game. Game developers in president signs are not like their forefathers lol there's something about the born with a proverbial silver spoon in their mouth generation that lacks ingenuity originality and creativity. This game looks like a PS2 game I don't know why but it does to me, but what do I know it's not like I'm a falcon or anything😅 nice video thank you!
How bad do you have to be as a studio to make a racing game that has an identity crisis.... Racing game fans are among the easiest fans to please. You choose a category, arcade, sim, goofy. You get shiny vehicles. Slap high res textures on them. And booom - revenue. Bonus points for those that focus on immaculate sound design.
2:47 strongly disagree. That is literally what TDU was known for. It was a lifestyle game that everyone fell in love with. No one wants to play another Forza Horizon/Need for Speed/Crew game!
@Skittlezz45 you couldn't be more wrong about people not wanting another forza horizon lol games got one of the largest day to day user base on any platform.
Honestly, we gonna need a review back in a few weeks/months of the game when the devs are gonna fix the game. The review seems too negative for what it actually is :c The game is just different from any other racing games. KT Racing is listening to the community and will make the game better. the game had a very rough start, not gonna lie, I hated the release. But we gotta see into the future for a game like this specially since it's a online only game, for now, since they are talking about making it also offline. Other than that. Nice video as always

The only thing I disagree with is "the best open world driving games dump cars on you". umm no? It's okay to work up to affording something rather than free sh** thrown at you, your forza bias is showing, but with lack of currency here I get the annoyance. Agree with all other criticisms fromthis vid, I'm so disappointed as a long time tdu fan, these new developers took no criticism on board from betas, and pushed out a half-a**ed poor follow up to a great series. I'll wait a year for their "roadmap" to complete before I consider getting this.
One thing that made TDU1 awesome was how hard it was to get cash. Had to do one event over and over again until I had enough money. Felt so rewarding buying a car or house after grinding one event lol
Yyup, when I bought my McLaren F1 in FH4, it felt so easy and hollow, I uninstalled the game immediately. In NFS Unbound, I got it right at the end of the story, perfect pacing, still mess around with it time to time.
I took the plunge and bought it. Not had any problems regarding online, graphically needs a polish but it’s not bad, sound is superb, the cars sound great. The gameplay and handling are also pretty good. I think once this game gets a few updates it will be a great game. To sum up i am enjoying it at the moment and it will only get better.
@@ModestPavement It's very possible but I think if it were a reference for that particular one he probably would have delivered it similar to the show because the phrase is just so common, it's definitely not a sunny specific thing like most quotes
Some additional information on the economy of the game, you will not be able to grind money and buy cars, you earn about 15-18k for the first three times racing a race depending on your finishing position, your rewards drops to about 3k for P1 on your 4th time racing it, and 1k for every time after. Just to put things into perspective, 2018 Challenger cost 1.18 mil, and 2009 GT-R cost 852k
Welllll your rewards when you grind out a specific race reset every 24 hours so you get max rewards again, plus whenever you hit level 30 you get a permanent 9K bonus on every single race you do. Plus doing missions/objectives make you an immense amount of money, for example getting 100K for completing a time trail under a specific time. So it's not bad at all
@@hufflepoof5510I think the 9k bonus drops on races if you do too many of the same race in that 24 hrs but at that point you get the bonus there's so many races to do anyway so it shouldn't matter.
You people are too used to getting hypercars thrown at for no goo reason, grinding your way to supercars is great, i mean if it's not done just for the purpose of pushing micro transactions into the playerbase of course.
NFSU2 is a beloved classic, and yeah cars were “free”, but nobody complained about the stage/caps/level progression, sticking to one or two cars until you got to the next.
I had the same complains about TDU2 except that graphicly it was phenomenal for me. That game was starting more like a simulation and by unlocking further it was getting more like an arcade. Same as you said here the best part was exploring Ibiza in TDU2. So they didn't change anything for this game, that could be a good sign, if there was not a decade gap between this two games. As it seems, they even kept almost the same graphic level for the city and the avatars. I was playing driver : San Francisco and NFS the run in 2011 (which both were great and mechanically also very nice), these days even Asphalt 9 on mobile phones has some collision effects, but TDU stayed undeveloped :|
@@josheee6123 Usually pure greed. And laziness. If the first game is great, none of those players will move on if there's an offline. But if they can't play they have to buy the sequel. Hopefully this becomes illegal and all the devs who make online only games like The Crew get fined to hell and back. Scumbags.
One thing I actually like is that you have to grind for your next vehicle. Forza Horizon just threw cars at me left and right, didn't like it. Remember the older racers? You'd start with a low tier car and then work your way up.
Something about GTA 5 feels more authentic even though it’s arcade style. In games like The Crew, NFS & Test Drive the cars feel very stiff & fake. GTA 5 feels more fluid & obviously the world itself is way more real & interactive (when you drive into the ocean you actually go into the ocean. You don’t hit an invisible wall or respawn or magically incur no damage).
One major issue for me you didn’t mention is the lack of car varieties in this game, the game seriously lack playable cars comparing to TDU2 from 13 years ago, hell even NFS games from 20 years ago offers much more options than this game. Majorities of the cars being offered is hyper cars you can never afford, most of the non-hyper cars are just a different paint job version of the same car. For example in TDU2 you get Audi Q7, R8, RS5, RS6, S3, S5, TT. In TDUSC you get Q7, 4 different versions of R8 that all handles the same with exact stats besides price, 3 versions of the same TT

Great idea with the Hong Kong island, but they lost touch with the dream at some point and stopped chasing it

This!
Help this guy pinned or at the top of the comment section
since it is online only, most likely it is the server problem as there is no local save file

I’ve done one race and spent the rest of the time exploring and doing speed traps. That’s TDU to a tee.
I loved doing the delivery missions where the slightest damage would fail the mission. I'd just cruise and listen to some music.
The game ask you to buy sspecific car to enter a race but give you less money back as reward. And you cant sell car

But hey I'll probably buy it when it's discounted $5 out of sheer curiosity.

I wish a dev would make an open world racing game that's more like an MMO with a lot of stuff to do in the open world. Getting out of your car would be so perfect for car meets and shows or just normal stuff like buying properties and walking around your house/garage. I think that would be super popular. All great Ideas that might not see the day because of the lack of sells or popularity it will get… the problem these days is that games can come out but are not finished and I understand that maybe some smaller companies need this to have a budget to continue to make the game bigger and better as I’m sure it must be really expensive to create games these days since it takes so long to make because of the always growing technology that must be learned and the higher standards of graphic and of everything actually… but a great concept with great ideas can easily be drowned, abandoned and forgotten because the hype was there but then it wasn’t and they missed the train as first impression is mostly everything… anyways, I do hope they’ll be able to achieve everything they want to achieve because I’m sure it could become something awesome.
doesnt matter if the idea is there its already been done a decade ago
The player base is making their problems with the game well known. All the devs need to do is look at the subreddit or the comment sections of videos to see the predominantly bad opinion on always online

@@ModestPavement It's very possible but I think if it were a reference for that particular one he probably would have delivered it similar to the show because the phrase is just so common, it's definitely not a sunny specific thing like most quotes
@@Gxbbzee fair lol.
I hear falcon quote Sunny quite a bit. It always makes me smile.
Then how are players supposed to own those cars?!
This is my biggest hate I dont wanna wait 24 hours so I can get max money farm again its so dumb. some cars cost 15 millions. gonna take me ages
You people are too used to getting hypercars thrown at for no goo reason, grinding your way to supercars is great, i mean if it's not done just for the purpose of pushing micro transactions into the playerbase of course.
12:02 ok that is pure nonsense of a crash, shows kt's expertise in their other racing titles
Yeah that suspension physics is nuts.
The thumbnail guy for this video:
So...same as usual?
Not buying this always online crap
They are going to shut it down like the crew 1
No offline = No buy
Why do they do that shit , like what's the idea from their point ?
@@josheee6123 Usually pure greed. And laziness.
If the first game is great, none of those players will move on if there's an offline. But if they can't play they have to buy the sequel.
Hopefully this becomes illegal and all the devs who make online only games like The Crew get fined to hell and back. Scumbags.
@@armando_az1 my cousin said this new game is 50£
One thing I actually like is that you have to grind for your next vehicle. Forza Horizon just threw cars at me left and right, didn't like it. Remember the older racers? You'd start with a low tier car and then work your way up.
I will just keep replaying the memories of TDU on the xbox360 in my head, What a great game that was.
I love how you always pepper in some Always Sunny lines. 😂
Hope GTA6 will have a realistic driving physic this time. It's my only hope to drive in an open world with cars and pedestrians..
Goodluck with that, Their fanbase is mostly casual gamers who can't handle realism.
It will 100% be very arcade, they will not aim for realism as their crowd isn't people who use the brake when turning
This will die faster than Concord
Test drive very better than forza horizon
We need a pizza racer now.
Pizza Delivery Simulator ‘98.
Pizza Delivery Simulator ‘98.
I loved TDU back on the Playstation 2.
Hat 79 world records when the servers got shut down. Was hyped to get back to Test Drive... what a shame.
I'm buying it. When the game let's you play, is really fun (I played at a friend's house)
The camra zoom with every gear change is annoying
I think it’s pretty cool🤷🏾♂️
This game is dead on arrival.
Another helping of DOA live service slop sir?
good
Horizon fanboy? 😂
@@jannikmatthias9289 people can have valid opinions about shitty cash grabs without being a "fanboy" of a game dont like. the player count st launch for this game on steam was under 5k, thats basically doa for any game... and its only going down
@@LordmonkeyTRM Oh yes please! And I'll have it with a side of grind.. no, large grind! And bad matchmaking on half.
Gotta love the thumbnail
I played so many racing games in my life. From STUNTS on computer going throught NFS Porsche Unleashed.. up until recent NFS and G,Turismo.. Online racing was always a baddd idea.
Geez... This game looks like 10 years old... The physics, graphics... Look at the offroad gameplay, no dust, barely no tire marks...
Old Test Drives felt unique for it's time.
This? Arcady Racing Test Drive....
The game stutters im this video. A racing game needs to run 100% smooth. Plus it's online, so it doesn't really exist from my perspective. Graphics vary between nice and plain. Would be interesting as a midprice no-bullshit offline game, but well...
No views, No pizza
Bro i literally was gonna buy this game full price tomorrow, cause i grew up loving the previous unlimited games. But online only and the fact that its still basically a ps3/360. With dead cities and lack of innovation really killed my hype. Now ill probably wait till its heavily on sale. Thanks 4 saving me cash bro lol
Worth A Buy has a great review/rant video about this game, and from what he mentions about TDU2, this game is a shadow of what Test Drive Unlimited used to be. It's such a shame. This game could have been amazing.
No people walking around is weird 😂
