Warning signs for PH, Umno in Sg Bakap? Former DAP MP weighs in

Perikatan Nasional retained the Sungai Bakap state seat with an increased majority and vote share last Saturday as lower turnout hit Pakatan Harapan hard.
In an interview with KiniTV, former DAP MP Ong Kian Ming observed that the result in Sungai Bakap was as expected, following the trend of post-GE15 by-elections where the incumbent party retained the seat.
Ong, however, pointed out that this outcome highlights another potentially concerning factor contributing to PH's loss of voter support.
