- On February 16, 2025, #CAA Professor Zheng Jing's "Expeditionary Light Project: Human Utopia Series" unveiled its second chapter at the Moslavina Monument in #Croatia. The Moslavina Monument, built in the 1960s, stands 10 meters tall and is 20 meters long. Inspired by Nike, the Greek goddess of victory, its central metal structure represents a stylized sun flanked by two asymmetrical wings.
During the performance, the ethereal melodies of the diple, played by musician Branimir Norac (@branimirnorac676), intertwined with the interplay of light and shadow. Professor Zheng bridges time and ancient civilizations through pioneering, real-time creations, allowing classical mythology and modern philosophy to resonate in the interplay of light and shadow.
This performance presented love as a kind of "Utopia" - neither a distant fantasy nor an illusory mirage, but a breathing entity that brings powerful, universal inspiration. Drifting on the wind, the light particles and the victorious wings from ancient Greek myths are now transforming into the majestic wings of humanity's boundless love. Each era requires a renewed light to illuminate its monuments, just as the spirit of utopia is never an escape from reality but rather a flower of hope blooming in the soil of hardship.
