This was my first skillet show....I was 12. Now, almost 10 years later I've seen them 8 more times, with another one next week! It's crazy seeing how much the band has changed since I first listened to them. (BTW this is to this day the BEST crowd I've ever been in, and I've been to nearly 75 since then....I was at the barrier in between Korey and John and the atmosphere before they came on was insane and it stayed that way the whole set....) Thanks for the upload!
I saw Skillet when I was 12. Fueled my passion for music and desire to do that as a career 😂 also it doesn't hurt I've got a raspy voice lol

John didn't have a beard for most of skillet. in the early, through the mid-2010s he started growing it. but he does look a little bit cleaner I will admit, not dorky. anyways i love that intro
Back when they used to be amazing live, from 2004-2014. After 2016 their live shows went downhill, but then again that's just my opinion.

@@Superdogfan6 Just that they play the same setlist over and over again, too much new stuff(I'm not a fan of Unleashed or Victorious) and I feel they had more energy live in their Collide days all the way through their Rise days.
hm... i think it's all vice versa. Seth became more confident, John certainly improved his voice control

I absolutely agree with you I have never seen them in concert but I have seen a lot of their concerts on video. And it is true that from "unleashed" their concerts became much less powerful and impressive. We can see it a lot on the song "whispers in the dark"
John looks so dorky w/o a beard. Lol.
