Thank you so much! I had to read this for college and was a bit confused about what the meaning of it all was. It turns out I was on the right track. I appreciate your video!
Very good I love how it just completely diverted expectations. It made(in certain point of view) a fairly feminsitic outlook on the her story. It is very nice for the reader seeing this story and having varience of the story. The love shown for the nature of life and the things of staying strong and trusting of yourself and of the occasions really also brings an incredible notability to the story that is brought through how the main character is really weighing in her options and deciding for what is best for her and everyone for the most part i'd say
Amazing!!!!! Have you considered the following books: Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy Middlemarch by George Eliot A Portrait of a Lady by Henry James Dante’s Inferno The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoyevsky Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott Melmoth the Wanderer The Muders in the Rue Morgue At the Mountains of Madness Ghost Stories The Beetle The Warden by Anthony Trollope Two on a Tower by Thomas Hardy Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell
I don't know why academics have to find sexuality in everything. Just because the author had never married and had a best friend? Maybe she was too intellectual to be bothered w/the vapidity of dating and physical intimacy when she didn't want babies. Her art was her baby. I think she probably was a nature lover and was speaking against greed and/or trophy hunting. (Although prior to wildlife photography, collection of specimens was a way of studying and supplying data for preservation.)
Jewett was actually in a romantic relationship with Annie Fields for almost 30 years, even though most textbooks refer to them as "best friends". They considered themselves to be married despite the fact that same-sex marriage was not legal.
