This car has the 4.5L V8 which is a very powerful and reliable engine. The car runs great and feels tight. The exterior is beautfiul with the light metallic gold paint and the the quarter vogue roof. This is a very nice looking car. Someone took very good care of it over the years. The body is straight as can be and there is chrome everywhere. The interior is very clean on this car and shows very little wear. It is a Cadillac so it is fully loaded and has power everything and it all works on this car. The Eldorado is a two-door personal luxury car manufactured and marketed by the Cadillac Division of General Motors from 1953 to 2002. Competitors included the Lincoln Mark Series and the lower-priced Buick Riviera and Oldsmobile Toronado.
The Eldorado was at or near the top of the Cadillac line during early model years. The original 1953 Eldorado convertible and the Eldorado Brougham models of 1957--1960 were the most expensive models that Cadillac offered those years, and the Eldorado was never less than second in price after the Cadillac Series 75 until 1966.[1][2] Eldorados bore the Fleetwood designation from 1965 through 1972.
Beginning in 1961, Cadillac marketed an upper trim level named after the French coastal resort, the Eldorado Biarritz.
Aside from the new-for-1990 Touring Coupe model (see entry below) introduced later in the model year, it was a year of enhancement for Eldorado. A driver's side airbag was introduced as standard equipment, but as a result, the telescoping steering column was discontinued (although the tilt feature remained). Cruise control buttons were mounted on the center of the previous steering wheel, but with the advent of the air bag (mounted on a smaller diameter steering wheel), they were now moved to the turn signal stalk. A new multi-point fuel injection replaced the throttle-body style from last year, and horsepower jumped from 155 to 180, although the new system required the use of premium fuel. A new cast aluminum wheel design (not available with the Touring Suspension package) was optional for those customers who desired something different than the standard "snowflake" alloy wheel on the base Eldorado. Seating received numerous enhancements, including new molded trim panels, additional lateral and lumbar support, French seams, and revised front headrests. Full leather upholstery (formerly leather and cloth) was now standard on the Biarritz model, but the base model lost the seat-back map pockets.

I have this very car! 1989 though ,same color combination, no dents, dings, all original!
92k . I converted to new a/c system ,and have had drivers seat replaced/ along with headliner. fabulous car! I've got all service records from 2014..
after all it's a CADILLAC lol!

I've got a 1990 Eldorado with the E&G Classic Cadillac gold package. Full cloth (Simulated) convertible top. Gold grille. Gold rear luggage rack. Every emblem is gold and solid factory aluminum wheels with 1 1/4 inch wide white walls. Same color Exterior. I'm going to repaint the entire car How and Where do I find the paint code. Thank you.

I have one of these same year and very very quirky fast quick and handle like a Corvette. The only problem with this was the ignition switch had issues and since it was connected to a computer with security anti-theft device they would go out when you least expect them to you would start having problems starting it it was a pain in the butt.
