You should listen and watch the original video by Kikuo. Since you said you are a visual person, I think the music video will also hit in a different way for you.
It's a little harsh to talk about someone else compared to Ado, but Nerissa Ravencroft's English cover of this does a *great* job translating the lyrics and is really good, although obviously it can't be Ado-style.
All these artists coming out are literally doing what we thought only vocaloids could do back in the day. They are finding new ways to sings to reach or flex into the range vocaloids could do back when the popular vocaloids composer did.
