hi! i'm in helix house, its not very hard to get in i think! you just need to show interest when you apply and provide good/authentic responses in the extra form they get you to fill out :)
@@raeannee may i know why u chose houses instead of halls, and also do u think that staying in houses makes it less fun n harder to have a social life? thank you sm!!
@@helloos4486hey! not sure if ur still looking for answers to ur questions but i have friends staying in both halls and houses and while they do indeed have their differences, staying in houses wont make it less fun nor less socialisable as compared to halls! i stay in raffles hall, and based on what me and my other friend from helix house talked about, halls have more social events and a lot more interaction as compared to houses, but houses also have lots of fun activities/hobbies that you can partake in. the rooms for houses were also much newer (and nicer) which i really liked and wish i could have back in my own hall haha. nonetheless we both had a great experience staying on campus! i highly recommend you to try applying for campus stay as it really makes uni life feel so much more vibrant, if you have any other questions lmk and i'll try my best to answer :)
