There's something dark and guttural about dark signs that immediately attracted me to it from the moment Vessel started singing. I don't think I've heard another Sleep Token song where Vessel has that level of rasp in his voice. There's something really seductive about it. I'd love to hear it at a club
Nobody gives credit to II for the actual fills in this song. They assume it's a drum box doing most of the electronics until you see him doing it all on the pads. Dude is amazing.
I like who YOU'VE become, Chief! 🤘🙏💪 I love this track so much. It's my "cruising off of work with a cigarette" groove. Take care, bud. Happy Holidays.
This was the first Sleep Token song I ever heard, and I was immediately in love with the music. Chief, I'd love if you could take a listen to a new, independent rock band called Freeze The Fall. Their songs "VHS" and "Daughters of Witches" are both fire (yes the drummer is blindfolded in the second song). Merry Christmas from Australia!
Ooh! First comment! I like 'em all, so I'm not saying to react to X before Y - you can do 15 before M if you fancy! Looking forward to seeing the rest of your Sleep Token reactions as they're released.
To me, this is reminiscent of the Trip Hop scene from the early ‘90s. The sub bass makes me think of Wandering Star by Portishead from the album Dummy. Check out Portishead, Tricky, Massive Attack etc… Their stuff is so good. From what I know, Vessel is from near Bristol, so it wouldn’t surprise me that they were an influence of sorts as Bristol was the home of Trip Hop. Definitely worth checking out!

Fully agreed! II is an absolute legend and his drumming is always 🔥

Yeah, the vocals are a bit more raw, let's say, and the e-drum is great. I live for your ST reactions. My fave, hands down.
