I enjoy JL's standup and her writing. I think she's the funniest Australian that I know of working today.

I got to see her and Denise Scott duet together in a comedy show about their experience in menopause -- it was brilliant 😂

A few years ago, I went to a studio recording of a comedian, and everyone coming in was given a small can of beer.
How many large cans of beer did this audience have? And how long with a top-flight warm-up artist before she appeared?

Stolen joke, "Handle with a tag". A Welsh comedian did that on Rove years ago.

Yep, Rhod Gilbert. Funny as hell. Search "Rhod Gilbert, Luggage".

In 70's/80's Australia, we'd get free vinyl cabin bags for overseas trips and the handles would eventually come off. I remember seeing just a handle on the conveyor belt a couple of times and everyone giggling. It's probable that two comedians have either had experiences or thought of material independently.

Lol 🤣. And/or maybe a baggage handler was pranking the public by just sending a lone handle out on the conveyor!

Judith Lucy has a good warm-up artist.

I find Judith an acquired taste ... more for the over 40s. She's damn smart, but a mess of a human. Like many, her shtick is a bit tired out.
