@@ForeverOdd eldritch god that we cannot hope to comprehend. Why do you think Paul uses him for experiments that turn out disastrously so much, or manages to be on Friday Nights quite often despite not really playing magic, or that they are all going slightly more mad as time progresses? Beej is basically Emrakuls cheerier brother.
James absolutely rocked this episode. The editing was great, to be sure, but playing that well off of an otherwise empty room, and delivering his lines so excellently in general also deserves commendation.
Kathleen: Paaaaul! What is wrong with you? Paul: Well I lack any semblance of ethics and invent machines dangerous to the very fabric of space-time. That's two things.
I can see why James said they "overdid it a little" for this episode. Also I can't help imagining a horrible future in which any time someone loses a bet to James they have to pay it pack sevenfold, once for each James.
Personally that time capsule sounds kind of fun. But James finally learned the most important lesson of all: patience. Edit: they should do something about that magical time door.
I saw it a day early cause I work at a movie theatre, my plan is that if anyone who I can tell loves Avengers is treating me or my coworkers badly, I will threaten spoilers. Worked well so far.
THAT? *That* is the realization Beej gets after uncounted time 'away' in solitude and contemplation? He opens his Third Eye and....FINDS an (extradimensional?) *parking space?!?* Nice.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause-to-effect; but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it’s more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly… timey-wimey… stuff.
Do not open your mind to public parking, Beej! You'll get congested like your other parking lots and then we'll need some sort of Paul-esque Inception. Also, your thoughts may get a little polluted.
Did... Did space time collapse? From what I was able to follow: At least 2 James-es went to the future, watched endgame, and came back. At least 6 James-as went to the future, watched endgame and didn't go back (or did go back then occupied the same timeline until said future). At least 1 James went to the future and back without watching endgame. And at least 1 James was prevented from going to the future by his past future self. Also, Beej experienced several centuries in an afternoon. Did I get everything? Is time okay?
Except the James who went to the future and failed to see _Endgame_ didn't go back; he opened the door, stopped an earlier iteration from going to the future, and closed the door in both his faces without coming back through. At which point Paul and Kathleen caught up to James and stopped him from using the door. This leaves the obvious question: if James never used the door, then why were Kathleen and Paul there to watch him slam the door in his face? Apparently James will have been the test subject for both the timebuchet and the chronopult.
At some point the Unsuccessful or Doomed Jameses would cease to exist or meld with the Real James of the Prime Timeline or the timeline in which they exist at the moment
Wasn't that the regular door. That cameron used to make his "fish is back on the menu boys" joke. And when Alex asked for it in the brawl episode to get his "singleton standard what up" line across. Graham said that they "super got rit of it after it fell on james the third time". Also, all this was in Friday nights. And I think that friday nights and comodore Hustle kinda have their own universe.
This was genuinely entertaining, and technically impressive, but I wish you had chosen a different title because now 70% of my recommendations include endgame spoilers... its two days before I'm free to see it, my self control is only so strong...
Alex has come away from the stuff like CH and Friday Nights for the forseeable so he can focus on his own projects. Still an active part of LRR! But yknow, got his own stuff to do :)
Huh, I didn't notice that so I went back to see. (You don't have to read this part.) All three Kathleens (including pre-intro) are wearing something different. Paul 1 and 3 are wearing the same thing. And Paul 1 was seen when James is seen going through the door. So possibly Kathleen 1 is not from the same timeline as Paul 1 or James who is seen going through the door. And if so then James did open the door to his proper timeline to stop himself from entering. (Sorry for the wall of text XD)
So I see you, LRR. The fadeaway animation for the ipeneing has copyright 2012. Plus, the description says "looks folks" instead of "look folks". Great video, incredibly funny
A golden opportunity to have James' name appear 8 (or so) times in the credits was missed.
Right! In the title crawl I was expecting to see him appear atleast twice.
Darn it ya beat me to the comment!
Why do I have a feeling the time capsule Beej took is somehow responsible for the space-time effect known as Meej?
It's possible. It would account for how he could accompany Graham on his caffeine induced time hop.
Did you mean the Threeej seen at PAX East?
Oh! Maybe it's also what causes the beejdrop! Beej also became untethered from his own body, and his mind dominates the tiny essences of other beings!
Does this make Beej some kind of dorky Overdeity? @@gavrielbudvietas1443

I lost it at the end bit with Beej. XD Also "chronopult" and "timebruchete". XD

Look closely. The sketch is actually from 2012. Someone must have been really eager for endgame. 0:05
Nightwizard look closer at the very end of the logo (before the episode continues).
Bravo to the technical skills in this video. The merging of multiple James was flawlessly executed. Bravo!
Yeah, that paul cloning device has finally been extended to different cast members!
As great as it was, and as much as I might come off rude, look at the door on the left from 0:33-0:37.
@@stnavellino I noticed that too just now. Perfect otherwise. Much better than I could be done.
"Don't you know that's disrespectful to linear causality?" Is a fantastic line. Thank you.
That sounds so Graham to me.
James absolutely rocked this episode. The editing was great, to be sure, but playing that well off of an otherwise empty room, and delivering his lines so excellently in general also deserves commendation.
Kathleen's "Paaaaaul" gets me every time, in every video it makes an appearance in. So good.
That effects work to have multiple James on screen at a time was beautifully done.
The shot of James pushing himself aside at 4:30 is honestly wonderfully done. Good job crew.
Gotta love the dedication the LRR team has. Perfecting cloning technology *just* for a sketch. Well done guys.
When Kathleen called for Paul I forgot what self control was 😂😂👍🏿
The delivery on a lot of these lines is just amazing.
Kathleen saying "Paaauuul!" reminded me of Llamas with hats.
Kathleen: Paaaaul! What is wrong with you?
Paul: Well I lack any semblance of ethics and invent machines dangerous to the very fabric of space-time. That's two things.

Beej: "The First year wasn't much fun"
This is a considerably generous statement in retrospect...
THE DINO DOOR!!! That was awesome! (Thank you for making this spoiler-free by the way)
The bit with the pineapple was very vague
Can't wait to see the Loading Time on this one.
I was waiting for a blind eternities beej drop but I suppose that was more of a beej awakening
What on earth is that background noise that starts around 0:26? I didn't hear it during the LRL episode, but it seems prominent here for some reason.
I saw Endgame Wednesday (technically Tuesday night in Canada) here in Ausstralia.
Immediate theory that Beej stores the multiple James(es?) In his brain for rent... somehow.
Flexing your editing chops here Graham.
the subtle hitchiker's guide reference was on point
I see Beej solved his double.parking problems
Can confirm. The pineapple thing was so sweet
Ummm I just got the histamax crapshot as an add for this video? Ummmm what hahaha
You are living in the best timeline, congrats!
Ampherocity yeah, Graham tweeted about it earlier. Someone apparently paid for it to be an ad?
Yeah I've gotten it thrice across multiple LRR vids
Oh my Beej that is beautiful.
Personally that time capsule sounds kind of fun. But James finally learned the most important lesson of all: patience.

So the timebuchet works better than the chronopult?
Looks to me like Paul knows what the superior siege weapon is.
The subtle 2012 was a nice touch.

Love it that you guys got the @RhysticStudies mug same as me!
This was a great play on what the whole infinity saga is about. Loved it.

James at their best! Love it!
Insert the Lego Movie scene about Beej's mind being so empty. Then insert angry zen master.
This was super good. Well job. 💜
I'm just a little sad that Beej didn't say "I *could* really go for some chips right now"
Paul has multiple time machines. This does not surprise me in the least. That's a man who knows where his priorities lie.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause-to-effect; but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it’s more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly… timey-wimey… stuff.
The missed a great opportunity to list James in the credits eight times (or ten, depending on how you count the two at the start).

The best part was the discreet nod to trebuchets' superiority over catapults.
There has to be a story behind the piece of paper reading “1992” affixed over the “Attention! No/No” sign.

Eh, time loops do weird things to the fabric of reality. I'll let it slide this time.

Yes, he needed help getting into endgame early.
Hey, they didn't accidently spoil the finale this time.
Probably because the finale didn't become a meme before everyone saw the movie :P
