You like to weld, so you could've welded a nut to the end of the broken bolt and used a box end wrench to work it out.

Henry, i think you gave that Dayton tractor enough of your time. It was interesting to see you problem solve issues like the transmission, shifter and brake. But i think if you spend anymore time on it, it could become a money pit. Your price of $200 is fair to someone since the engine alone is worth that. Thanks for the videos Henry!

Henry two things that I like to do is tap a hole and weld 😎
That would make it pretty permanent for sure, never to change a brake pad again, but yeah that would have worked
Pull the muffler up and weld it. It is a POS
then if it rains and it is outside, it will fill with water...although I agree it would look cool standing straight up.
