Thank you! I have a bunch of videos recorded testing out different combinations of characters and grasta, and building Alma as a dps as well. I'm still figuring out crystal even now. I figure even this team will change over time, much like my Minalca team did (I look back at the first time I used her and cringe). I figure I'll post them soon-ish...kinda like a behind the scenes video. :) Before that, I did clear the most recent trial, stage 5, with a modified version of this team and that video is coming out tomorrow. So hopefully that'll help some people out who happen to have these characters. Crystal's pretty new and I figure a lot of people are lacking it, so maybe these videos will help folks down the road a bit.
What I love to do with my Crystal team (AS Alma, ES Thillelille, AS Clarte, AC Dewey) is turn 1 or 2 AF, and I can pretty reliably hit the Stellar Burst. Besides pretty much automatically hitting the HP stopper because of Sword in Heart and giving Moke 5 charges, it will also extend the Awakened Crystal Zone because of the Stellar Burst boost
One of the reasons Alma AS is such a drag to have as DD is because she has to rely a lot on A LOT (repetition intended) counters! And they take a LOT of time, which adds to the 2-3 seconds at battle start if you take her with you on vanguard (which is why I save her for bosses). That said, I've had her do some CRAZY 24x counter attacks that take nearly 1 full minute to complete (depends on enemy attack count), and she's arguably the best tank in the game for a limited (but still huge) number of turns if you can abuse and maintain her alchemic high. Alma AS probably does more damage in certain situations, and despite my limited number of characters, I bet she's a contender for maximum damage to a single mob with a single "action" and does not get blocked by damage caps since refraction counter are multiple hits.
I did manage to get Alma AS to counterattack the Dragon God and each hit except the first was at damage cap. She didn't have max hp on the first hit, so when she self-healed from it, the hp+ grastas and badge kicked in. It was nice to see, but yes, it takes time to both set up and watch the animations for.
@@casualcronolv99 yeap, I was using her to complete Wryz III on Veteran (since despite my lucky roster for 2-3 months of creating my account, I still haven't had enough time to grind for the amount of Grastas meta requires...). And one of the Wyrmking's attacks hit so much at her she did the 24x counters in a row I mentioned. I probably used her on Dragon God but to be honest I just cheesed that and most Complex Dream superbosses with Thilley ES (except gosh darn lavoger...). I don't even know what strat I used, I think it was just AF+burst+Sword-in-Heart+Moke and chill.
@@casualcronolv99 well, despite the drag, it is kind of ASMR to see Alma peeling through superbosses with that counter... just a shame most have HP stoppers and then after hit 1 and you have to see so many counters that are completely irrelevant 😢
Thanks for the guide! I actually have those units and have been meaning to tweak my team to perfection but had the soul crushing realization I'm out of Allcosmos charts due to my worthwhile investment in Thilille for her Sword Weilding Savior state. Man I hate Allcosmos charts at this state man...
I hear you! I wanted to SA Melpiphia and only had one chart. Two more months until I can, and by then, there might be someone else I'd rather invest in. It's rough.
Dunno if it is good but I have a rather hilarious idea. Mainly because no Mariel ES. I was thinking of throwing in Anabel ES once I can Stellar her next month (Somehow got lucky and just got all her books handed to me. So I won't int CC into the banner. Also screw wfs and the lack of alcosmos that are farmable) Alma eats all the single target whilst Anabel would just eat every aoe attack. But I am pretty sure that even if 0 damage is taken Alma's counter will also trigger. Meanwhile Thille and Melissa will continue to pummel the enemy with their big damage hits.

I have four other superboss teams at my disposal, and as I update them, I make a video about it. The most recent update was in February, though I figure I'll do another update in April since I'm pretty comfortable with this crystal team now. Correction: you get crystal zone for swapping Thilley and not Alma. Alma's VC will provide a def boost/def debuff and get her lunatic in automatically (once), while Thilley's gets a little healing (also mp) and deploys crystal. Wondering if you tried Ewella AS (stellar) or Eva? I don't have any of the other 4 characters you have in the comp (even though I have nearly all of their memories :'| ) but I have good success with those 2, although very RNG'd. Beat Uquaji 195 and second clan battles, but can't make it through Lavoger for instance. I'm very noob.(2-3 months account) and still learning some mechanics
Yeah, I'm so used to Alma NS being the crystal zone setter, it's hard to break away from that mindset. And yes to Eva! I just posted a video showing me testing out various combinations of characters, and how I settled on this particular group. I don't have Ewella AS though. The free characters usually have dungeons that occasionally reward light or shadow points. The wiki shows you on the dungeon page who has a chance at points. For non-free characters, aside from pulling a duplicate character, which is hard to target, I usually save up the guiding light or shadow points I run across, and if I really need an extra skill slot or badge slot, I'll spend the guiding points on that character. It's a slow process either way, though.
Welcome to Another Eden! Like for example, a max hp wind, a max hp katana, and a vitality badge (20% damage when max hp)? They do work together. Or are you asking if someone had 3 max hp katana grasta equipped, would those three stack? I would assume so, but to my knowledge there aren't 3 of those in the game yet.
I can't provide meaningful comments, Crystal is one element I'm really lacking, but it's very nice to see your explanations about it
