I have watched him handle a few malcontents that tried to attack him when I saw him play at the Observatory. They both caught guitars upside the head. I see he's only singing now

I saw the official Fear post a couple weeks ago mentioning a bad diagnosis. I’m going to the Chicago show. Never saw Fear before. Same night as Descendents/Circle Jerks/Adolescents in Milwaukee. Tough choice though.
Wow! I remember seeing Fear in Decline of Western Civilization (never saw them live).....this band is together. I always felt they were more punk satirists and Lee Ving clearly has pipes. Like Black Flag smarter than you think.
Yer a badass for throwing this one up. I wanna see them so fuckin bad before the end of this year, but I’ll be locked up til December. The Portland show with MDC is gonna fuck hard but I think the Long Beach show with the surprise guest is gonna be the one I go see l, just in case anyone was planning on asking
So this is what grandpa looks like if he were to do punk rock. Lee didn’t age well probably with hard drinking and moves like a 90 year old but seems healthy to be able to perform and sing aggressively like his younger days. Saw comments here this was the last Fear concert due to his health. If so, glad he was able to do a final tour before retiring.
For them to be a punk rock band (here known as "hardcore") they have too many catchy hits. Many pop bands wish they had this talent to compose hit songs. Greetings from Santiago of Chile 🇨🇱, South America (where We listen to a lot of classic rock (60-70s), punk, heavy metal, thrash metal, etc.)
And they say old men are boring. This one is a legend of punk.
Lee Ving is such a trooper. Dude's voice hasn't changed in 30 years.
Has changed. He doesn’t call the crowd gay, fags, and every possible way to attack them in that way between every song.

Mabuhay Gardens show in SF. The chick got knocked hard as did some of the guys he was taunting. The Colonel don't play around😂

I feel fortunate to have seen their final show in NYC. He was on point the entire set.
Thanks for uploading! 🤘🏼
Wow I’m happy he still rocking out! I really wanted to see them :/ thanks for this!
One of the best players in early punk not playing live anymore is truly a bummer.
Lot of young memories back in that day. 62 today and still love hearing Lee sing "I don't care about you." LOL Long Beach, CA 1982.

He's like 10 years older than Glenn Danzig and he looks and sounds like 10x better.

Neither of these guys that commented on his age can count apparently. He will be 74 in April.
I'm glad everyone got to see them.. Lee is very ill, and is retiring after this tour.

Love you forever Lee
Absolute legends ! Have been a fan since the mid 80's.
Saw them June 22, 2023 in Tampa, FL and will see them again Jun 8, 2024 in Pomona, CA. Better than most bands out there for sure.
