    I applied the DIY DETAIL 3 yr Graphene coating to my sons car 6 months ago. It sits outside 24/7. I noticed a few weeks ago when it rained, the horitontal panels had big odd shaped water beads yet the rain drops on the vertical panels looked small and tight . I gave it 2 rounds of water spot remover and its beading perfectly again. So if you see a similar thing on your coated car, dont panic. Get the DIY DETAIL Water Spot Remover and give that a go. Its magic in a bottle.

    Just applied the 5+3 stack a week ago! Going to wash the car on Sunday but we’ve had a bit of rain here and the hydrophobics are WILD! Thank you for the product.

    I officially became a mobile detailer yesterday thanks to the 2 of you. And yes you can absolutely apply ceramic coatings outside, I've done this with the diy 3 and 5 year, I've applied Cquartz, avalon king, adams, and other coatings outside. They've stay working over time. Not everyone has the luxury of a climate controlled environment. Keep up the good work Yvan and Nick

    Please, for the legacy sponge, would be possible to adjust the shipping charges. The other day I was trying to buy just the sponge and the shipping cost was prohibitive (Florida). I understand other heavy stuff have higher costs, but the sponge weighs nothing. That would be really helpful. Thank you! Keep it up!

    Can I use the same coating applicator for stack?

    I got a new black car last month and applied the Stack on Labor Day. It as my first ceramic coating application ever. I am in South Florida. Very hot and humid in my garage. I spent the Sunday prepping the car (decon) and Monday I did the 2 step polishing (the car had swirls from dealership) and did the app. The flashing time was quite scary. It was so humid that I was applying and leveling within 5 seconds. The 8y was fine. After 5 hours, the 3y. Now that was something. I felt the 3y was harder maybe because of the graphene. I felt that the leveling with the dark liquid was not that easy to equalize. Well, it all ended up GREAT!! Thank you so much!! I am prepping today my second car, and will polish and apply the stack tomorrow.

    Gents, what is the best process to coat a car that had previously been ceramic coated, that is well past its prime? Like yr 5 of a 3 yr coating. My fear is that it would have to be wet sanded first. Tks

    I coated my black SUV with your 3 year coating 10 days ago. I cleaned the car today, and as drying ade l used Quick Beads, which should be enough, but then l couldn't help myself and applied Ceramic Mist. I know it is probably a over kill and a waistof product, but did l do something wrong?

    I have now coated 5 of my vehicles, the last 2 with hydro lite and so far if I get the long term performance I expect I am and will be very satisfied. My biggest struggle is the last stage of prep when I glove up, I always end up dripping sweat somewhere. BTY Yvan is true to what he say's, DIY is great for answering any and all questions asked. Big thanks to the whole team!

      If it's sweat from hands out of gloves, roll up a paper towel tight like a cigar and wrap around your wrist on the inside of your gloves. This will catch the hand sweat from leaking out of gloved area. If it's your head, where a head rag and hat.

    I wish I did not need to use a car wash ever but in winter -35°C (sometimes colder) and no heated garage. That is where I REALLY wish we had The Bays here because in winter I would be there so much people would think I work there 🤪🤣

    Been using DIY products and loving them. Live in TX and occasionally after foam rinse foam I am getting annoying film on the hood etc. Is that soap that dried due to extreme heat? ( I never do direct sunlight if possible but cant avoid TX summer heat). Takes some effort to get rid of the occasional film/smudge. Enjoy the content and products. ( ceramic gloss and waterless my favorites). Jeff

    I've been using your products with success however what happens if the coating u using doesn't have a matching panel prep? Can DIY or app be used in that case? Or is there a universal adhesion polish that can be used or an adhesion polish that doesn't state only use with its products but says after use A ceramic coating can be applied A meaning any ceramic coating?

    does a ceramic coating prevent bird droppings and water spots from etching in after that first week and if so how long could you leave those on there before it does happen

    • @diydetailofficial
      @diydetailofficial  6 часов назад

      It slows, it doesn’t prevent. Instead of doing damage in a matter of hours, it will take days
