Augustine Ramirez was one of my favorite legends of Tejano music. I grew up in the Rio Grande Valley in the 1960s and I saw him “Live” at Casa del Sol in the late 1960s! In Harlingen! Great Dance. Then in the summer of 1969 I went with my cousins to Burlington, Colorado to work on the Sugar Beets and Augustine’s music was hot in Colorado también! So I bought every Album he ever recorded, great music. Later on in the 1970s and 1980s I started my own band and I sang alot of Augustine’s songs with my band, we miss you (Guti) , thanks for all the great music you gave us! se los dice un Cantante Tejano/ George Cavzos and The Vista Band -Houston, Texas.
