Vincent also was the Ghost host for The Phantom Manor in Disneyland Paris. He was also the voice of Professor Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective and The voice of Vincent Van Ghoul in The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo
I'll watch it again! Re-upload or not and including Vincent Price, the video has finally come to full circle, plus end of the video to credit many more horror icons (+ many from Hammer Horror Universe per mentioned) without a grave to tied the knot for a wonderful Hollywood Graveyard video production. Until the next one or shall I say "Graves From The Black Lagoon" premiere! 😉
The Helen part made me oddly happy. I love that you and the team care enough to reach out to her next of kin and give her a place for her fans to pay tribute to.
How this account doesn't have millions of subscribers, is beyond me. The care, the perfection, the enthusiasm, the quality, the cinematic experience... Mind blowing, Mr Dark.
Agree with you about the quality of Arthur's work. Perhaps we need to send the link to everyone we know and ask them to do the same. I've watched from the beginning when I stumbled across it while looking for something else. I think I've watched every video at least three or four times.
Mr. Price was my first horror love when I was 6. I saw House on Haunted Hill on TV late at night. He's always been one of my favorites. Thank you for including him Mr Dark.
I double salute to you sir arthur for your painstaking effort to give ms chandler and mr gwen a forever place where we can visit and see their resting final place . . 🎉😊🎉🎉🎉
like always ~Very well done ~i visited Dominique Dunne's grave back in 2023 I was happy to see my butterfly rock still there ~ One of my favorite Comedy Horror The Private Eyes with Tim Conway and Don Knotts both buried at Westwood
If you are counting "Jaws", then I would say Robert Shaw and Roy Schneider as well. This was such an indepth and thoughtful video. Thank you Arthur. Have a lovely evening. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎤
Glad that Edgar Allan Poe's Grave Site and Memorial has been improved over the years. PS - love visiting older, east coast cemeteries that have these monuments to the dead
I soooo love this channel !!!❤❤I spent Halloween watching all the horror classics on TCM. Thoroughly enjoyed them. Vincent Price is my favorite horror actor.
RIP Teri Garr, Inga from Young Frankenstein (or "Fronkensteen", if you prefer). Teri was absolutely lovely in all her movie roles, but Young Frankenstein was her biggest role to that point and led to even bigger and better things like Tootsie.
Wiki tree actually did a thing today, where everyone that is a member showed us possible connections to famous hollowood monsters. My closet ties biologically are Lon Chaney and Vincent Price at 18° so I appreciate the re-upload. Buy adoption I am related to Edgar Allan Poe.
A haunting tribute to horror icons! Visiting their final resting places adds depth to their legacies, chillingly unforgettable. Respect to the legends! Thanks, Mr. Dark!
Ooh, I didn't see a re-upload of this video coming! Thanks a million for adding Vincent Price to this! I was seeing a landslide of comments of those that were furious of omitting him in the original and I agreed. Anyway, my other favourite memories of him was the movie House Of Wax, the voice of Ratigan in Disney's The Great Mouse Detective, Egghead in the Batman TV series, an episode on The Muppet Show and the narrator of the short stop motion animated film Vincent which was actually created and directed by Tim Burton way before they worked on Edward Scissorhands and long before he was in Thriller, he was in the Alice Cooper song The Black Widow from the Welcome To My Nightmare album. He was also an author of several cookbooks.
Thank you so much for including Ed and Lorraine Warren especially in the last segment no less. I wouldn't have minded if they appeared somewhere else on this list, but to be the last people shown.... that's pretty neat. Also, some people may not know this, but James Best, who played Roscoe P. Coltrane on The Dukes Of Hazzard played the lead role in the horror movie Death Mask. He also wrote the screenplay for that movie.
Karloff & Price were absolutely perfect at what they did. Just. my personal favorites..BUT if anybody here deserved at least an Oscar nomination would be Bela Lugosi as Igor from Son of Frankenstei . He was the chilling scene stealer in that one. Thanks again Arthur for a look back at them all..
Arthur, as always I love your videos but the best thing about your channel is when you make known there is a need for a grave marker or resting place for once-famous people who don't have one. The way that fans and friends come together to support this is great. No one should be forgotten.
Cheers Arthur, it’s Sean in Atlanta! I have developed a real love for photographing cemeteries! And being a multi year subscriber of yours, I can’t thank you enough for creating one of my favourite RUclips channels of all time! You have allowed me to visit the world’s finest and most beautiful cemeteries and I appreciate it and always look forward to your next production. It’s great visiting our old friends and icons. You make Halloween special! Sean
As always Every October and January, I celebrate Edgar Allan Poe. He and I share the same birthday month. He is the one probably gave me creative mind and what led me to becoming a visual artist. Quoth The Raven...Nevermore!!!
I've watched your videos of Helen Chandler being moved from vaultage to a niche several times, and I get choked up each time. 🥹 What a beautiful thing to do for her. God bless you and all that you do, Arthur.
Oh man I love the story of Sleepy Hallow. I remember watching the movie "The Legend of Sleepy Hallow" in school and also reading the book first, of course. Learning about Edgar Allan Poe was one of my favorite things in history class as well as "The Headless Horseman"❤
I just rewatched your Chapel of the Pines video and please do an updated video on who else has finally seen the light of day as it's been a year already
You made my night, thank you sir. Your videos have been part of my life for years now and I think of you as one of the best content creators on RUclips. Well done
stopped at 24min. to offer a hug ang thanks for what you did for Helen ( and Edmund?) i will look further into this. i have previously watched a few of your groups live-acting on-site history lessons and find them extremely enjoyable well done and a great way to pay homage to those that have given us great pleasure in this field. i am subscribed and will join shortly again well done and thanks. overall pretty pleased so far to see the longevity of the lives of a good percentage of the writers and actors in the genre = they and us maybe all have/had the same good sense of humor which keeps us around. ;)
This is why I love Hollywood graveyards with the introductions like this one and how I got into thesesvideos like this and mainly what started for me Hollywood graveyards the twilight zone episode thank you Arthur dark you are the best ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love Vincent price before he switched to b horror movies he was a leading man believe it or not and he starred in a old movie called the song of Bernadette my cousin was in the movie with him you showed her grave on a previous video Arthur..hi I'm Linda Darnell's cousin Lola and I absolutely love your channel Arthur and the love and respect you show for the dearly departed 😊
Excellent program and well researched. While watching it, I had my fingers crossed, with hopes of seeing actor William Marshall included. He stared in two blaxploitation films, Blacula and Scream Blacula Scream. Both have a cult following. William’s acting career was often overlooked by film critics.
Legendary character actor James Whitmore who played Sgt. Ben Peterson in Them 1954. Whitmore's notable films The Asphalt Jungle, Tora Tora Tora, Planet of The Apes, and Oklahoma! His Oscar nominees films, Battleground and Give 'em Hell Harry. He played the old prisoner Brooks in Stephen King's The Shawshank Redemption. Whitmore was cremated and his ashes scattered at sea, he doesn't have a grave to visit.
Thank you for another great episode. I was very disappointed that there was no mention, other than at the very end, of the great Sir Christopher Lee. This man played Dracula 10 times, seven of them for Hammer. That, and many other horror and other films. I know he was cremated and there is no grave, but such a talented actor should have been mentioned. I also agree with another comentor on here, you should do an episode about the Hammer films.
Thank you for resurrecting this most excellently spooky video! Makes my spooky little heart happy! I would love to see a Hollywood Graveyard special highlighting people who made spooky popular music like Michael Jackson (Thriller), Warren Zevon (Werewolves of London), Dr. John ( Loup Garou, Marie Laveau), Luxe Interior of The Cramps (Human Fly, Goo Goo Muck & many more), Bobby Boris Pickett (Monster Mash), David Bowie (Scary Monsters), The Ramones (Pet Semetary)...maybe a Halloween special for next year?
I love this video. I love Vincent Price, Edger Alen Poe, Lon Chany and othets. This is an exalent video for Halloween. Your special with your music video was great. You always out do your self. I'm looking forword to next years halloween videos. 👻🎃👻🎃👻🎃
Thank you so much for this!🖤 I really enjoyed this. Go on with videos like this please. 🤗😊🎃🫶🖖🏻😍 Happy Halloween to all of you friends and fans from good old Germany. 👻
My grandfather used to read either Grimm's or Anderson's fairy tales. I got to choose which one he read. Some of those tales scared the heck out of me!
One mid century horror host you should look into is Momus Alexander Morgus, a beloved icon of New Orleans (and Detroit). He was the first host to get his own film, The Wacky World of Dr. Morgus, 1962. Created and portrayed by Sid Noel, he also had a comeback in the '80's. His loyal fans still hold him in great esteem as one of the Higher Order!
We recently lost another horror icon, Tony Todd (Candyman). He was cremated, his ashes retained by loved ones.

Vincent was and is a priceless legend. ❤
Oh okay. I was wondering why there was another video on this. Good on you adding the great Vincent Price. Personally one of my favorite horror actors.
Vincent also was the Ghost host for The Phantom Manor in Disneyland Paris. He was also the voice of Professor Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective and The voice of Vincent Van Ghoul in The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo

Too old for trick or treating.😢
Never too old for Hollywood Graveyard😊
I refuse to be too old for free candy.

I know its unbelievable to me. When I subscribed 5 years ago I thought it would be at a million in no time
THANKS FOR ALL THAT YOU DO TO HONOR AND RESPECT THESE TALENTED PEOPLE WHO HAVE TOUCHED THE LIVES OF SO MANY.
That was super nice of you what you did for Helen.
Mr. Price was my first horror love when I was 6. I saw House on Haunted Hill on TV late at night. He's always been one of my favorites. Thank you for including him Mr Dark.
I was 5 years old when I saw House On Haunted Hill for 25 cents at the Saturday matinee. Big fan of Vincent Price all my life.
I found that movie 🎥 on RUclips and in color it looks good
I double salute to you sir arthur for your painstaking effort to give ms chandler and mr gwen a forever place where we can visit and see their resting final place . . 🎉😊🎉🎉🎉
The first and probably the only time I’ll ever see a Hollywood Graveyard episode the day it’s released
like always ~Very well done ~i visited Dominique Dunne's grave back in 2023 I was happy to see my butterfly rock still there ~ One of my favorite Comedy Horror The Private Eyes with Tim Conway and Don Knotts both buried at Westwood

What a beautiful gesture for Helen ❤
Thank you, Arthur for the Vincent Price inclusion. He is my favorite horror actor.
Glad that Edgar Allan Poe's Grave Site and Memorial has been improved over the years.

This channel introduced me to Theda Bara, I finished a biography about her a couple weeks ago and what a great woman, glad she is not forgotten.
I soooo love this channel !!!❤❤I spent Halloween watching all the horror classics on TCM. Thoroughly enjoyed them. Vincent Price is my favorite horror actor.

Eager Allen Poe is my favorite. He was so talented! Vincent Price said he really liked doing Poe's stories.

I had already watched this but it was great to see the additional clip for Vincent Price. Certainly deserved. Such a fine actor and gentleman. Thanks!
REUPLOAD OR NOT IMMA WATCH...WHOOO HOOO...THANX ARTHUR.
Love it 😊thank you for sharing ❤❤
Immediately clicked. Happy Halloween everyone 🎃

Awesome video, may they all rest in peace 🙏 Thank you very much for sharing this Arthur. Happy Halloween 🎃
I just rewatched your Chapel of the Pines video and please do an updated video on who else has finally seen the light of day as it's been a year already
Absolutely loved Lon Chaney Jr in the Abbott and Costello movie. He and Bella Lagosi were brilliant with Abbott and Costello..
Fabulous, as per usual Arthur.
I would love to view a similar treatment of SciFi/Fantasy writers and producers.
Thanks Again!
As someone who is a fan of horror since I was a teenager, this is absolutely amazing.
Your videos bring me peace and knowledge. There's something subtle and calming about your storytelling. Much appreciated 👏!
Thank you so much for making these videos, they are my comfort watch always. Happy Halloween everyone! 👻

Thank you for saluting the icons of horror. I would add Nelsan Ellis, who played Lafayette Reynolds in the “True Blood” series.

TY Arthur , just adding there was other series of Dark Shadow you forget to mention made in 1991 with Ben Cross as Barnabas ,It was the best .
My grandfather used to read either Grimm's or Anderson's fairy tales. I got to choose which one he read. Some of those tales scared the heck out of me!
SOME of them? Girl, all of those stories are absolutely horrifying. C'mon now lol
Did you know that Humphrey Bogart starred in a horror movie? He was Dr. Maurice Xavier in "Return of Dr. X".
One mid century horror host you should look into is Momus Alexander Morgus, a beloved icon of New Orleans (and Detroit). good job
I would argue Helen Chandler was and is the most beautiful actress in the history of Hollywood. Such a gorgeous woman for her time
Happy Halloween my brother 🎃🎃
Every time I see Egon's ghost, I cry my eyes out.
