I’ve been listening to this song since it dropped. I never get bored with it and I know every note. (by sound… I could never play it). This is probably the most accurate sounding cover I have ever heard.

I’m trying to cover this song, but I’m having a hard time getting this tone.
I have an explorer with Alnico 2 Pro Slash Signatures, and I’m using Amplitube 5. Even with a variety of amps and pedals, I’m clueless when it comes to this.
Could you please tell how did you get this tone ?

Thanks for the support mate! Basically I do not use any pedals or programs to get to that sound. I'm using the natural sound of my amplifier and a cab simulator A/DA GCS 3, which recreate a very natural sound. What's important specially when playing Van Halen is to keep your sound as natural as possible. If you do not own an amp I would recommend you to choose a virtual amp with not too much drive you want to make sure that when you turn the knob down for the quiet bits your sound is almost clean
