It a real shame that this band vanished. I've been a fan since the first cd was released and still keep checking in 2015 to see if they've come back. My friend worked at natural wonders in a mall back in the day and was personally responsible for selling dozens of their CDs.
@iamearthbornami Same here. I found one English translation of it at a book store when I was in university, in a city where Mabinogion is practically unknown (did I say city? I mean country). Never fails to captivate me.
@allisonforfornsed I'd also like to add that I'm very fond of their music because it is some of the most rockin' music I've ever heard, the compositions are of extreme quality. Basically I give this music my A+ seal of approval, I just don't like her tonal problem is all.
I must say, as awesome as this music is; the shallowness of her vowels and her nasally narrowness of pronunciation is getting annoying; coupled with weak diaphragm control which produces shaky, teetering high notes, it is a sign of a very typical sort of ill-trained singer that I hear sometimes. If it weren't for the fantastic studio mastering, this wouldn't work as well as it does. To be fair tho, she has a naturally pretty voice, carries a tune well, and has an excellent command of Welsh.
She has never pretended to be anything but a folk singer. Folk singers are normally taught to sing by their family, friends and other folk singers. Consequently they do not master singing in the way that perhaps an opera singer would. We must remember that folk is of the ordinary people and we should not expect professional perfection. At least I do not. #

@@prettyjohnshill76 Actually, I find his statement very educational. I now find myself paying more, closer attention to the recording.

It has none of the problems you note on the CD. Its the upload to youtube that has gone wrong
