I think everyone is miscalculating the offers, you don't get just the characters but they are leveled as well. For instance the level 80 thats 6 star characters at level 80. It takes 7.7 million gold per character to go from 1-80 add that up and its a lot.
Now the value does go down the further you are in the game and higher stars you already accumulated if you have already worked on those characters.
Why doesn't buying the Level 80 pack give you all the rewards from the previous packs? That would be worth $100

I completely agree with your take. They literally just copied SWGOH's hyperdrive bundle, but made it less valuable 🤣. Every reward from every tier should've been avaliable in the $100 tier. & every character should've been granted at 6 stars. This is absolutely terrible, lmao.
These Time Heist offers give me the impression that Scopely/Boundless is stuck in the past 😂. As a lvl 94 veteran player, this offer will go in the Thanosgiving column.
For me the level 80 was perfect. I was sitting at lvl 68 forever, and just bringing me up to 80 and t14 teams. it doubled my TCP

As a level 50, i cant even spend purple materials because I am stuck at tier 7-8 lacking the blue stuff... and now what stops from progressing at tier 9 is the level, not the materials... so makes sense for lots of blue mats at 50...
Hello, I know you are a lot higher than me, but I think buying the top two for a FTP player who wants to be better at competing in this game isn't a bad thing at all. Each of these leveling up takes ages to do, and if you are still not expecting to be a Kracken but want to move up and have a couple hundo extra why not?
I think you don’t have to purchase the previous offers but the problem is you need to be at the level 80 to purchase the 100$ which by that time I already have most of the important character there just by buying individual offers and grinding
I've recently reinstalled this game since I started working from home. I havnt played since..forever. your vids have helped me catch up and so has this.
Currently the level 80 pack is available to me and I wanted to see it's value. Thanks for the info!
Edit: to give my game age I'm at 600k top. That level 80 would put me at 2m tcp
First off. Welcome back and thank you so much for the kind words. Definitely it does help a few players out I'm just more looking at it from the overall aspect of just going from level 1 all the way up to level 80. That's the way that I evaluated it.
So they’re saying all those YEARS I spent ranking up those characters… levels, gears, stars, red stars… is worth a few hundred bucks? That’s like working a job for 12 cents an hour for 4 years
And on top of that, all of those teams and their legendaries, with the exception of a few characters, are useless in the end game
As someone coming back, that level 80 pack doesn't seem horrible? Not as good as the SWGoH Hyperdrive (which is $50 now), but it's nice to save all of those resources on the characters that get autoleveled. Could be MUCH better, but it also could've been a lot worse.
I know this is alot, but boomer value would add up to way more than 99$ but is it really gonna rank you up to 80. Don't you need to get the experience points to get to 80? Just curious. I don't think this offer would be available if you wasn't already at level 80
It took every one of my Toons that was not at 80 to 80 for the offers I bought.
@Damiien I bought it. People may hate me for doing it, but I wanted it for uncanny xmen and I would never get to do it on resources alone. Very happy with my purchase.
It takes those characters there and I believe player level to 80. Level 80 has value but it should have included what was in the previous tiers for the same price imo.

how is not worth it you would pay $20 or $30 for 2mil gold and some gold orbs if you needed it and i have done so many times just the gold alone makes it worth it for me. for veteran players you lose most of the benefits these offers have but the gold and training orbs with some of the other extras are still very well priced considering what offers look like usually for those resources, im level 86 but i started playing just when weapon x was released so alot of these characters i dont have built up at all and some characters have value im getting all these much needed resources at better value than usually offered at with additional resources and im getting assistance with some characters i would want to invest a bit into so saved me resources and possibly shard farming on them
This comp in comparison to what other games are able to do is poor value. The comparison you made is fair but it just highlights how their regular in-game pricing is fairly high anyways that a slight discount seems good. I won't go into detail here as to my evaluation on why it's not worth it as I have already explained in the vid but wanted to reply to what you said.
I don't think this will actually unlock characters you don't have. Only upgrade them. Please let me know if I'm wrong
I don’t have the eternals or magik and it shows a little unlock symbol by them. So I assume it does?
It will not give you, say Ebony Maw, or any of those, just the ones listed. I had unlocked everyone but it did take me to 80.
My understanding is that the characters that are there you will unlock.
im f2p but if i was like returning or something and missing characters it could be ok if u needed all from a bracket i guess. but i like you dont think they deserve any money so im f2p and think most light spenders would also laugh at this. kraken bait for the items and shit
I bought the first 3 already and once I get the last 2 will be the day I don’t spend anymore money on this game i don’t usually spend money unless it a 25$ and under pack with 5-6 characters and that’s all and even if the pack comes back multiple times I only get them once and then Ignore them after that

These kinds of packages have never made sense to me. You could spend 100 bucks for some crap in a mobile game or get multiple high quality games for the same amount on a platform like steam.

I felt like the lvl 80 was more than worth it. I was level 75 with 4 mil TCP... instantly jumped me to level 80 with 7 mil tcp. I got entire teams at G14 where before I only had Like 2 characters at G14. I was able to complete challenges I previously couldn't, I was able to do way better in Dark Demension. Compared to most of the deals they offer, it was a stellar value. Had I tried to farm all that on my own it would have taken months.

It depends on where you are in the game on whether this is valuable. Overall the value is not great i can assure you. especially if you look at comps from other games.
Plus new characters are 100$ now.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Hey Goofy 🤪. These offers are offensive at those prices I would recommend you grind it out. So many bottle necks and events that force you to build certain toons that I recommend going at your own pace not trying to keep up with the meta and rapid fire releases of toons.

At first i was wondering what scopely was smoking. Then watched run seven recap and he mentioned, this is for krakens and whales who is thinking hey let me create another account. At least the new account will stay at arena number 1 for a loooooong time.
As a newer player, I don't mind this. Keep in kind people uave been playing since day one and everything in between. For someone to start to day and be where you are because of money would be kind of a disrespect to the players who took the time and effort to play this game over the weeks, months, and years to get where the are. If you set a reasonable price for players to be at your level, then most long-time players would quit the game.
It's business, but also retain your current long time players too.
Really no point in getting this other than going to lv 80

I'm making an assessment on the tiers for the levels in which the players at that level would be receiving those rewards. I clearly stated that purple ability materials would be better.

I play galaxy of hero’s and marvel strike force . I bought the hyperdrive bundle and it’s great. This is garbage and I am happy that I was a light spender now completely f2p in marvel strike force. This is garbage.
Listen here guys: time is money, if u got a decent paying job u earn the money u spend for all of these packs in like 10-15 hours hell make it even 20 hours. But now ask yourself how many hours do u have to invest (waste) to get to the point the packs get you to? Ya feel me? Why not have fun instantly but rather have to work in a game after u get home from work. Enjoy yourself have fun right away instead of having to work hundreds of hours in the game when u can earn the money in 15-20 in ur actuall work and have fun after work in the game u enjoy. Thats my opinion on this. People spend 200 dollars for a night in a club for bottles of alcohol that ruin their liver and ppl dont call them out but hey if ya spend 2-3hundos for a game u crazy. Pls stop this hypocrizy

It's so trash. It's nothing like the SWGOH. Hyperdrive bundle gives you characters and opens all nodes and max level for $50. I feel like they are just milking what they can before they shutdown.
If its $50 now, it wasnt't always ... It was $100 at the time of initial release
I wouldn't buy it. A lot of these teams have aged like milk.
