Hi Sean, I'm Bira Souza from Brazil Congratulations on the tutorial, very complete, I loved your explanations, can you tell me where you got these audio samples from (Vengeance and STH Sound Designed? I wait thanks!
Umm I’m a total rookie on this but my question is...do you need expensive plugins to create epic orchestral hybrid music? Is it possible to create similar music like Audiomachine/ Hi-Finesse etc. does in this program?
Impressive work! I learnd some new very usefull stuff thanx! just wonder how you calling the windows like channell setting? hot keys? and how you detach media bay and browers as separate window?
Great question! F3 is the mixer, and F5 is the Media Bay. Those are the two that I use the most. For the separate windows, I have dual screens and I am pretty sure it was set up that way when I first opened cubase. I don't think I changed any settings there. Email me for a more detailed description!
Man, love this video so much. But i wonder where did you get all the sample sound? I mean that "packs" folder. It's kinda magic folder for me hahaha Thanks dude, keep inspiring!
Great question! I have gathered samples for a long time, either purchasing pre made sounds or making them myself. It's a long process but it is worth it! If you want an easy way to get a lot of sounds, try Splice. It's a subscription service that I like a lot
That's awesome! So here's a question: I see you use a lot of different Effects like Valhalla Room and such. I need to get some effects but i have no idea which ones are best. Can you make a list of effects you use and/or think are perfect for Cinematic music and vocals etc.? Would help me a lot, thanks!
Hey Kristian! Here is a list of my favorite plugins to use. The prices vary from free (Xfer OTT) to around $900 (Altiverb XL). This isn't a comprehensive list, but it should get you started in the right direction! Hopefully that helps :) docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11m_5OormaOiDimd-l-lmvoCEzzS4z_pzp19goQdR4ww/edit?usp=sharing
NOT in the right Key? Add it to project`anyway and activate it (Make it blackish). In the top there is a transpose. +12 up an octave -12 down one. And in between... You guess. maybe you find your key. Most regards from Me
This is called the step input. You can activate it by clicking the button highlighted in orange on my screen, next to 'CSS Ensemble'. For more details, check out this Steinberg video: ruclips.net/video/a4Be0wdu3Yg/видео.html
Hey Waza! Great question. This is because most of my tracks have a moment of silence before the music starts (usually a fraction of a second). If I start on bar 1, there is no room for silence before the track. Hopefully that helps!
Its stuff like this that gets me motivated to make orchestral music. Great stuff!!

Hi
Just wondering why you start track on 2nd bar?
