- Dead & Company 7/3/23 Drone Light Show, Folsom Field, Boulder, CO (music I added is NOT from show, historic GD w Jerry).
I took video from my home a mile from venue. Drone show was during drums/space. I couldn’t hear the music from my home so I added some good old GD music to make the video more enjoyable. Eyes of the World from the Without a Net live album.

Wow, ok I came to tears hearing this... Jerry would have smiled to see the drone tech.
Just one song I want to hear his voice again in a live venue...Eyes would be perfect!

I saw one of these drone displays a year or so ago. I think it was made over in China, rebroadcast on an Internet media outlet, and it was so well choreographed and orchestrated they could draw things in the sky... But since that time, I've been wondering how often UFO claims are actually kids playing with drones... Jest say'un...
For a brief moment I thought Dead and Company featured a vocalist last night who sounds eerily like Jerry. Then I looked at the date of the recording. How odd. But you were featuring the recent light show. I see.

This is the Grateful Dead but the drones at Folsom was cool, although that second night of Drums and Space really sent me. You know you’re in tune with the music of the Dead when you dance the hardest during Drums and Space. I did that shit so much! I was in a groove the 2nd and 3rd night. Got shut out the first night. I never thought I would see the day when Dead and Co tix would be selling for $300. I think the most i paid for a further ticket was $80 and the most i ever paid for a Grateful Dead ticket was $50 and that was a New Years Eve ticket! I started seeing the Grateful Dead heavily in 1988 and I remember my first show was $21.50. It went up from there but not to the point it is now. And i used to complain about $50! I would have to have the reincarnation of Jerry come back from the rave to play a show in skeletal form for me to pay $300 for a show! But I’m still leaving Colorado on Wednesday and driving to SF for the final shows. I guess $200 a ticket is fine but 300 is a bridge too far! Lol
