Where is the outrage for the hundreds of thousands killed in Syria? There are forty five armed conflict going on now around the world where civilians, reporters, and aid workers are or will die. Sadly Israel doesn’t care about these hostages. There have been numerous agreements that ensured release of hostages and Israel refuses. They want the land. It’s a money and power grab at the expense of both Israeli hostages and thousands of innocent children, women, and men. Almost the entirety of the world’s countries agrees that this is an apartheid situation for decades, war crimes committed on both sides. One in retribution for October 7. One in retribution for 70+ years of murder, oppression, and illegal occupation.

This "retired General" is a Zionetanyahu tool, not a lawyer. Any competent attorney will inform him that the ICC does indeed have jurisdiction since the activation of the Court’s jurisdiction over the crime of aggression as of July 17,2022, the ICC is able to investigate and prosecute the crime of aggression following a Security Council referral without any further aggression-specific condition; there is no requirement for the involved States to give any type of consent to the investigation, given that the Court’s jurisdiction under Article 15 derives from the Security Council’s powers under Article 25 of the UN Charter. The ICC can initiate proceedings if if the Court can establish that a State's domestic proceedings were undertaken for the purpose of shielding the accused from criminal responsibility before the ICC, if there is undue delay in the national proceedings, if ta State's national proceedings are not conducted independently and impartially (arts. 17 and 20 of the Rome Statute), or if the State in question is “unwilling or unable genuinely to carry out the investigation or prosecution” (art. 17 of the Rome Statute) or such proceedings are not carried out in good faith. Article 27(1) of the Rome Statute stipulates that the Court will have jurisdiction over “all persons without any distinction based on official capacity. In particular, official capacity as a Head of State or Government, a member of a Government or parliament, an elected representative or a government official shall in no case exempt a person from criminal responsibility under this Statute, nor shall it, in and of itself, constitute a ground for reduction of sentence.”

The ICC needs to issue warrants to arrest themselves. They should then find themselves guilty, and sentence themselves to prison for 30 years, without possibility of parole. That would make the ICC an organization with integrity for the first time in its criminal life.
