No ladies’HIJAB found in the Quran (The word HIJAB is used in the Quran but NOT for Ladies) Below are the concepts found in the Quran: in Quran 24.31 - “put forth COVERING over the Jayb” “yadribna bi’Khumur’ihinna ala juyoob’ihinna” in Quran 33.59 - “JILBABs over themselves” “alay’ihinna min jalabib’ihinna” [plurals: khumur, juyoob, jalabib] - - They try hard to add explanations from secondary sources to modify the clear verses of Allah swt. Unnecessary details of something which is simple and straightforward. (Anything that modifies Allah’s words is daeef (not authentic)) They took the desert clothing that is required in sand storms and called it religious. All other religious groups (including men) living in the desert were already wearing such clothes for a long long time. in Quran 24.31. The word is KHIMAR. Khimar just means COVERING (They’ve added (as prefix) head, hair, face to the word “covering”) They give the example of another word “khumr” from the same root - even Khumr (intoxicants/alcohol) does not cover the outer head/hair BUT it COVERS the ability of the mind from inside. Quran 24.31 (part) //… put forth the KHIMARs over the JAYBs …// “yadribna bi’Khumur’ihinna ala juyoob’ihinna” [Plurals: khumur, juyoob] Put forth the COVER over the Jayb. MashAllah sister! Can you please do a up close tutorial on how you use your pins to pin your hijab down? I’ve been a hijabi for some time now Alhamdulilah but I struggle with getting my hijab to stay in place. Even when I use pins, I have to fix it every few minutes.
If you mean underneath your chin, my advice would be use the grandma pin vertically when you pin. Put the two pieces together, really tight and pin them vertically. It will loosen up just after you pin, so don't be afraid being too tight.... hope it will be helpful.
