** ZKTeco will be selling this at $149.99, their US inventory is currently on its way and the price will be adjusted down once it comes in.
This lock is designed for interior use and is not weather resistant. It does not currently come in a deadbolt format. This lock could be a great choice for industrial settings such as office doors, janitor closets, etc.
The AL20B is easy to setup, control access, and monitor when the lock is being used. So far, in my one week of use it has functioned as advertised and it has been a very easy lock to use. I plan to do a followup on it once I have been able to spend more time with it. Thank you for checking it out!

That was a great video. These types of locks are on a lot of new houses near where I live. Weatherproof ones I’m assuming! It was great to put a face to the voice and watch you pick in situ. Like you said, it’s a lot different to on a desk in a vice.

Nice initial review. You could easily beef up the pin's or even put in a high security cylinder. I think more expensive versions would also have a deadlatch and RFID reader too. Pretty cool. ✌
Increasing the pick resistance on the cylinder would be a nice touch. Having RFID would be pretty cool as well. Thanks for checking it out!
Very informative review thank you. I've not seen a "smart" lock in action before.
A bit disappointed it could be breached so easily with shimming and raking.
I wonder if the lock notifies your phone if it has been breached or accessed by unapproved methods.
I would have to check the app and see if it alerts when it is opened with the key. But it does not seem to matter the brand you buy they are all usually built with easy to pick "backup" locks. However, in real life picking locks in the field is much more difficult and would raise attention so I have never worried too much about that myself. I would never consider installing high security locks on a door that has windows near it or anything that would make it much easier to breach than the lock.

Is it reversible to fit a L/H door.
Do you mean the handle? If so, it can be easily reversed

Can you mute the lock chimes?
Also, when you use the key or lockpick, how does it register on the entry log?
I can put the lock into a silent mode but for me I like hearing the feedback
What if there wasn't a key way?
Then you wouldn't be able to pick it and you'd have to find another way to exploit the lock

Yes, I believe so but I can double check
Mine always lock when I close the door regardless if I slide it to the green and I hate it.

This lock is not worth a shit if it’s not water proof for the price.
I would love to see a weather proof one myself. Perhaps, they will improve it in later versions
