- In this video I go over the components that I have assembled over time to build the ultimate TTG rifle build. Even though it only has one win*, it is a culmination of all the things I have learned from past events.
* I promise it will have more soon…
Just finished watching you and Chad with the Alien! New subscriber
I recommend thinking about your video presentation like you would lay out a mission plan: define the objective, break it up into chunks, focus on your strengths and distribute your weaknesses to teammates stronger in those areas, practice, execute, reassess.
Great walk through, great detail, better than Chadd's 😉😉... appreciate the detail
New to the precision world but appreciate the insight and love hearing about experiences. Thank you. Great gear brother. Good luck to you in your next event.
Thank you for your time.
Love to hear more the recital you are running. Great video! 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍
Solid video, brother I’m happy to meet your acquaintance I subscribe to your channel. I look forward to your content, thank you for your time and your service supporting and defending our country it is an absolute honor to meet you.

Good job Bro, It'll get easier for you just don't quit. Your knowledge is valuable.
😊Good job on the video 👍🏼
Hey man, thanks for the video. I am a new sub, coming over from 3 of 7 Project after I saw the video where you let him (Chadd) shoot your Lago Alien. I am getting back into 2A stuff after a 30 year hiatus. I would love to hear you get into the weeds on the why and what of your choices and lessons learned from previous experience to help me make better informed decisions on my own build. I recently purchased a SOLGW Loyal 9 M4 Legacy 16' FSB, LFT from Brownells. I picked up some stuff from Magpul-R44 hard case, M-1 padded sling, AFG (angled fore grip,) bi-pod, OEM magazines, and MOE MLOK handguard. I recently got out and zeroed the iron sights that came on it and am in the market for a new adjustable stock, light, optic and can. I do not know the details of each of its components but they all seemed to work well together with my first 200 rounds. I have heard good things about SOLGW and the company as well as their philosophy on personal defense and LEOs and Service weapons. I am looking forward to seeing and hearing more from your perspective.
You are certainly on the right track and you are correct about SOLGW. They make very good rifles. It all comes down to intent. What do you intend to use it for? Once you establish that, then you can start getting more specific in regard to components.
Appreciate all you do, thanks for making the videos and all the advice!
Glad you like them!
Really good points. I agree TTG is more precision than people realize. I’m intrigued by the optic choice. I run a 1-8 ATACR without a side dot but I also have the 4-16 like you are running. I may give that a shot with the offset dot like you have. I can see the value shooting out at 300 yards on paper to “see” impacts on the paper.
I am planning on doing a video on just optics related to TTG. There are a lot of options out there!
Great content and a different point of view. thank you
Nice setup! The tremor reticle is my all time favorite, I’m not a dial guy 😂…. Agreed could seem busy if you don’t know what you are looking at. 🤙🏽Aloha
Looking forward to some future content and especially that linear comp testing tease... Many options but almost nobody has done actual side by side comparisons because suppressors always end up as a better solution... But for those needing/wanting a setup without a suppressor acrual data or side by side comparisons are very lacking on youtube and in general... I've currently only found roughly 3 interesting enough to buy options after lots of prowling, the Sharps Bros Badlands, Witt Machine SME, and probably my first choice for trying a QD setup, the Griffin Armament QD gen2... It would be nice to find one that actually works as advertised without significantly increasing flash signature... (kind of what drew me towards the Griffin with such a variety of interchangeable components across two main blast shield designs, perhaps using their A2 style or full 360 flash hider that have a reduced diameter blast cap at the end of the flash hider instead of a typical open flash hider or using a chamber comp... 🤔) Thanks for the breakdown! Looking forward to future content 👍
couldn’t agree more! I am going to try to reach out some of the companies you mentioned and others to see if I can get a few to test. it needs to be done!
Well done. Thanks!
Great stuff brother.
Lets see the duty rifle next!
10/10
Rabbit holes let’s gooooo! 👊🏼
Nice man cave brother
Thanks 👍
What are the things you moved away from and or changed on your builds between events and why?
That’s a great question! That is worth doing a video on. Stay tuned!
👍
Need belt/carrier set up next!
That will be in my next video!!
Maybe I missed it but what off set red dot are you using?
Trijicon SRO
Is that a Troy Industry foregrip? Why do you prefer that foregrip?
It’s a JP Enterprise
Linear compensators only reduce recall 25% linear compensators are more to compensate people around you and direct the blast in the opposite way of the shooter. I’d prefer the linear….
I would agree with that. want to do some actual testing to find out!
@@KFactorConceptsfrom a precision shooting perspective, the linear comp aids in hiding your position in a hide site. Over 200 yards , the comp displaces the direction of the sound also. To some that might sound a bit hokey but it was the intent of the design…
I run one on a 300 win mag and there is a world of difference in using one instead of a break that throws the blast out each side….
Hey Kirt, is there a reason to use an offset SRO as opposed to a set of offset iron sights?
Speed. The difference between acquiring a proper sight picture with irons vs a red dot is pure speed. I would also argue accuracy. Irons can cover a majority of a target depending on its size. This is purely for sport though. In other disciplines, back up irons have a better argument for being utilized.
Are you near the compass lake area?
Negative
