Bang Kwang: The Worst and Most Cruel Prison in the World

Bang Kwang Central Prison, known as the "Big Lion", is one of the most feared and notorious prisons in Thailand. Located in Nonthaburi, on the outskirts of Bangkok, this maximum security prison is notorious for housing some of the country's most dangerous criminals, including many foreigners and those sentenced to death.
The prison is so cruel, the western world calls it the Bangkok Hilton or the Big Lion, because it is thought to be able to eat and haunt its prisoners. Bang Kwang is also known as the worst and most cruel prison in the world.
