Dr. Pinker.... "Don't read the comments!" as Joe Rogan recommends.... but if you are reading, then I recommend that you angle some content toward the approach I am most appreciative of. Namely, I see your point of view as throwing us all "a lifeline" in the sea of constant waves of negative portrayals of our human condition. I appreciate your data-based approach to help us see that we are much better off in many ways than we might think when we see information outlets that know how to get our monkey-brains engaged by exploiting our negative bias in our amygdala. While I am excited to see all of your well presented content, I'm very keen to learn where we can get the real picture on sapiens situations, progress and positive opportunities. As a middle income person in an industrialized country, I think I understand that I've got it better in many ways than the kings and queens of 19th century "anywhere."
