I'd heard about that concert Malcolm ended up paying for the 3 victims funerals and when he found out what had happened both Malcolm and Angus wanted the show halted but we're urged to play on by management as they feared a retaliation riot if they did not continue so they weren't given a choice once Malcolm and Angus became aware at 1st they were devastated and apparently after that night Malcolm refused to discuss the incident when asked about it.
Ive never understood why " fans" go to concerts and throw stuff. Brians reaction is spot on here as was the late ,great Lemmy when things were thrown onstage.

They did 3 nights in a row at cow palace love hate openned, went to the first 2 shows band was tight, this was really the end of general admission shows
Just over a month later there was 3 fans crushed to death at their show in salt lake city.... very sad... RIP to them
