Eddie, Alex, and Mikey were each masters of their respective crafts, but they didn't have half the vision and raw "crazy like a fox" genius that Roth had in abundance. Btw, you the real Pantera Anselmo? If so, I'm a big fan homegrown style. I used to go to your shows at Joe's Garage back in the old days before you made the big time. Good times.

David Lee Roth was as important as EVH in Van Halen.... maybe more important. Van Halen got boring and corporate after DLR was kicked out of the band. Seeing DLR entertain on stage was like going to a circus, but with kick ass music that could more than hold its own. Attending Van Halen concerts in the 80s before SH was a real event.
