i didn't when opening but i sniffed it and I can slightly smell it haha 🫶🏼
@@Lovecharmaine Haha, might seem like an odd question, but I opened a purse that I have been starting to use more, it's suede inside on the front flap, and I realized it smelled so good! I just might have bought that cover if it had that same noticeable leather smell. Lol I guess I'm a bit weird. 😂
@@pennycandyysHaha with the smells, some people smell the more, some less! I always smell the leather as a strong smell while the friends I ask need to sniff it really close to the material to get a slight smell.... 😅 I like smelling it in bags and purses but if it is in covers that are on my desk and smell them constantly while working it can get too much for me quickly 😅

OK, edit. The olive is great for autumn/fall. The teal blue weeks would be perfect for winter/spring.
Thank you so much!!! After putting the Hide & Seek COC on both Pale Blue Green and Olive Green, I decided on the Pale Blue Green as it looks more dreamy on it. I found that the "lines" of the design on the COC looked too prominent for my taste on the Olive Green.

I agree the pale blue is the one to go. I feel like some of the olive colored flowers on the clear on clear cover wouldnt show up well with olive weeks.
The lines/designs on the Hide & Seek COC put on the Olive Green was actually very prominent. So prominent, I didn't like it as much. The COC looked dreamier on the Pale Blue Green :)
They offered the same turquoise color (without the glitter) in the leather option for 2023 and I was so tempted to buy it! Along with the silver one haha I think you always wanted the turquoise color more from how you had mentioned it in your previous video as well!! So you did the best choice ❤
i love how they all kinda go together! theres a theme. a cooler neutral theme for 2024!

The tweed might fit better in a hon cover on cover, as those wear made to fit thicker hard covers. So the thicker pu leather could probably fit.
I like the olive with covers the best
If your ask me as an Autist collector of planners, keep them both! You could use one as a financial or health planner.

Loved this Haul!! I’m so happy you got the twinkle tweed I was hoping to see it in video! I think I went just as wild as you did this year. I love this shade of green. I think picking the teal green weeks was the best choice!!

Ok now that I have seen your whole line up I would say the lighter blue definitely fits more with the esthetic. The almond one looks great with it too. I’ve already got my whole line up but now I might need the almond have a nice day cover too. Lol how many covers does one need for a journal.

So cute love your haul I almost go those same colors. Also, try heating up the cover on cover to stretch it out a bit then put it on to see if it fits better

I really like the olive with the colours because it looks all earthy and nature themed with the flowers and i think it bring out the darker tones in the tweed really nicely - but it’s all personal preference isn’t it :) xxx
I agree! Colorwise, it could really go with both covers and it did look great with the Hide & Seek coc but the Pale Blue Green just looked dreamier with all the things 🫶🏼

I wanted the tweed so bad but I did get Holly Hocks A5 my aunt called me Holly Hocks when I was little and yellow is my favorite color but when I saw that cover I new it was the one I wish I would of got the tweed

yey! you picked the blue weeks! I was talking to you through the screen "keep both" multiple times lol although I personally like the shimmery one better. I put back the deco rush and the stamps coz It was over my budget, but these are so cute! I like your cover choices! I got the Hollyhocks a6 as well. I think the olive green looks better with the three covers! I think the slightly more earthy and desaturated tones really grounds the Tweed cover and ties in with the brown of the Have a Nice Day cover! 😊
Oh yes! Both of the weeks goes well with the coves. Ultimately, I went with the Pale Blue Green because the Hide & Seek coc looked dreamier on it. On the olive, the design/lines looked way too prominent for my liking. I’m very happy with the Pale Blue Green 🥰
You are hilarious, Char! You got me cracking up when you did the deco tape cuz I'm the same way. It's like correction tape and I cant seem to get it to lay down without skipping, but you did good! As for your haul--I loved it! Thanks for showing the Avec and the A5 Day Free cuz believe it or not, I have never seen the inside before. What do you plan to use the A5 for? And the covers you picked up--Holly Hock and the tweed one just goes well together. Im glad you decided on the light blue hobo weeks. That color seems to go better with the covers and the giraffe pencil board. Have a great week😊

For the deco rush, I think you were holding it too horizontally. I think it's easier to roll it if you hold it a bit more raised in the back (so putting more pressure in the front metal part)
Also helps if you use a pencil board / something hard behind that page... and a side to side (rubbing the metal part against the page without pulling more tape) motion to "cut" it before you pull it up. These are the 2 things that helped me the most
