Honestly I felt zero sympathy for him because he was the one being cocky and looking for fights, talking trash and deliberately doing everything just to lure Baki out. He treated it all like a game until he started to learn that people weren't playing around anymore.
What a lot of people miss about Jr. is that he's Baki at the start of the manga. He looks like a grown up, but he's emotionally a 13 year old boy. Like Baki at the beginning of the series, he's stronger than most people, but doesn't go thru the major losses Baki does, he even beats his father in a fight. Because of this he stops growing emotionally, and even his fighting has not evanced that much, as seen with his rematch with Sr. All this is to show how much Baki has grown as a fighter over the last 5 years. You see this when Baki and Jr. fight. This also changes his relationship with Kozue. Kozue is a Highschool student who has just had her first date and kiss in the last year, and she also sees Jr. as a bit of a child. The first time they meet he gives her a toy as a charm, and than after only seeing her a few times, he says he wants to marry her without much fanfare or expressing strong emotions, much like a child, not knowing what he's talking about, telling a girl he has a crush on that he wants to marry her. Kozoe from this point, treats Jr. like he's her litte brother, caring for his well being, and laughing off his repeated marrage proposals.

Here's the thing Muhammad Ali jr is stronger than all the people he ever fought except jack. However, he is taking what these maniacs do lightly. They will fight you at any time and place, to them you being injured just means, "hey this is my chance to get him." In any competition, Junior would have been as renowned as his dad, yet in the world of Underground No hold barred death fights, Junior is nothing but a Minnow in a sea full of Sharks... While people can be disappointed by Juniors fall from grace due to his hype, it should serve as a lesson. No matter how hard you train and think yourself the best, if you don’t have the correct mentality for it, in this case, To the Death Brawls, then you should quit while your ahead.

Ali Jr has one of the highest natural talents of any fighter in the Baki series. The problem is he is kind of an idiot. He thinks knocking out Doppo or Shibukawa means he won the fight. It's not a match, there are no rules, the fight is over when BOTH sides agree the fight is over. As I said MUCH earlier on in the series, being the better fighter doesn't always mean you win though. Matchups are a thing. Jack's physicality is in a league so far apart from Ali Jr's he simply can't hurt him.

i just love this episode so much. its just "hey spoiled guy. yeah u are good but we dont care if u are injured" dude got a tast of the streets and the underground world of fighthing. the old man showed him that victory is not alwayes Absolute. doppoe showed him that real world dont care how u feel or what ur state is u gonna face challenges. and jack just showed him what is brutallty and i so fucking love it. he understood he is no that good.
This episode i loved. This is like a lesson for Jr. His over here taking everyone lightly. These guys even at old age fighting to the death. Losing an eye or getting poisoned. Fighting bare hand against swords and knives. Some even fight hand to hand but then all of a sudden boy pulls out knives from his limbs and has a bomb attached to his chest... I mean this is the world of baki. The art of if you try to kill someone also know they will kill you too. Then the icing on top... Ali Jr. came over here all late trying to smash some of that Kozue prime meat, Doesnt give a fck about baki loving her or the struggle he went through i mean his enemies knew his weakness was her so they used her to get to him. Love this episode. Humble this wanna be Casanova. Kozue needs to stop being an idiot too accepting this mans approach... girl you know Baki is your main squeeze. Just like Baki dont be accepting his buddies offer to have gorgeous women every night for the rest of his life then she shouldnt be accepting this simp that literally was about to die to Baki.
