I loved how you showed compassion with Leah. You are always a good friend. So sorry to hear of this loss. I get it. If you need to question your relationship, then it's time to move on. I know from experience.
I agree that the host shouldn't demand that the guests clean up; but I have friends who automatically do it, because they are considerate in that way. I tell them, 'No, relax. Don't worry about that'. But, we've just all been raised to help out in some way. Even I offer to clean up, when I'm a guest at someone else's house. Nevertheless, I understand Ramona being upset with how her kitchen and backyard were trashed after the majority of the ladies became intoxicated. That was pretty bad. And even if you do have a person who's paid to clean up after folks, that mess was a bit much. I'm surprised the backyard didn't catch on fire with Leah and Sonja throwing lit tiki torches all over the place.
I’m sorry but I have a few things to say about Ramona. I’m not rich by any means, but if I had a good friend over, I would not send her to the basement with limited air conditioning. My other complaint, is that if you watch the earlier episodes in the first few seasons, she doesn’t treat the help very well. Especially the Hispanic ones. She talks down to them and sometimes Sonja joins her. Ironic because none of these two grew up rich.
God Allows UTurns I agree, but I think that’s the reason, because Ramona comes from an ordinary background, it’s like she’s thinks that money means she can treat people badly, but people that are born rich, don’t necessarily treat people that way.
