Same. I think because I'm searching here in youtube about the "real" Silent Hill, and his videos showed up. One of his early videos that stumbled upon to.
I think same here if I’m not mistaken. It was one of the first I saw of Josh❤ cool to see him Go back to see how it’s changed and it’s Halloween month 😅
I also live in Pennsylvania but I don’t know how far I am from this place, I’m glad he’s exploring in this state because most people don’t explore here but there are some good locations
Glad you went back Josh. I remember your last visit. I am glad you are choosing to do things you are drawn to see. Your enthusiasm is one of the best things about your videos. Thank you.
Graffiti highway has the dirt on it now because of "safety" concerns & to try and stop people from visiting. The church is still currently being used on Sunday's for service as well as holidays for service. I only live about 3 hours away and each time I go back to Centralia, I always find the beauty but also the sadness because of what had happened. Also, the people around there are so very nice.
@@megm2824 Thanks so much for the compliment about the people!😊I grew up in Shamokin and now live about 45 minutes away. The church on the hill is a Ukrainian Catholic Greek/Byzantine rite church. The difference in the cross is indicative of that heritage. Thank you so much for clarifying to all that it is indeed an active parish with Mass on Sundays & Holy Days. The Rev. Archpriest Michael Hutsko , is the priest assigned to this parish & one in Mt Carmel. He was actually assigned to my church when I was in junior high/HS. It’s always a small world.☀️ I agree with your sentiments of beauty & sadness; well said.
I dont believe that. What danger is there on graffiti highway exactly?? Youd think the town would love all the tourists because it helps the local businesses. Weird 🤔
@@lisa_k12 Apparently the real reason behind it because people would gather and visit there during corona pandemic. By stopping people to be able to graffiti the highway, they would also stop gathering there. Which I call bullshit, piece of Centralia's history is gone because of "corona virus"
I heard they covered graffiti highway for safety too. A few people still lived there when they covered it. Tourist's would have bonfires on the highway if a spark hit a tree who was gonna put it out?
You mentioned in this video that you're no longer making ghost-hunting videos. This makes me happy because your content before ghost videos was amazing. I stopped watching your videos because you were doing RUclips like everyone else. You explore and give background/history on these abandoned places, which differed from other RUclipsrs. I am happy you are continuing your old content. You were always the RUclips I watched. So keep it up.
I remember watching your 1st silent hill visit. Blows my mind how long ago it was. I love that your channel is still going. So appreciate your uploads! Thank you for many years of exploring! Feels almost like we’re with you. 🙏🏼 Safe travels always! God bless🙏🏼
It’s crazy the first time I came across your channel was when you visited the abandoned mansion of Gold and the Tree house in the middle of a jungle! So it’s really cool that you’re gonna do that again because seeing it on here made me feel like I was there exploring with you
Josh it's been a long time since I saw a video of you because you made those ghost videos. But I'm glad you are back to your old self. Awesome video mate love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱
I remember your original video. I love the update for comparison but hate that they've covered up the road. I remember your older hairstyle. What a blast from the past.
I live about an hour or so from there and I wish I could've seen the graffiti highway myself before they covered it with dirt. I would like to visit the area regardless one of these days to see the ambiance of what it once was. Great vid man! Love your stuff!
Its just empty, the couple people who live there dont enjoy when people stick around . Cant get into the church, highway gone, everything is overgrown and littered. Mostly a waste of time
Mad support for you doing what you love, Josh! Stick to it, explore whatever makes you happy, do what makes you happy, and your love for adventure will bring you success. Authenticity is a game changer. As a big Silent Hill fan who played the OG games when they were out, I get it. The atmosphere in the series is untouchable. Unlike everyone else here, I'm a new fan. I started watching your videos while I had covid a few months back and bought a RUclips subscription to watch Exploring With Josh without ads. All of your overseas videos are so fantastic. You are an amazing cinematographer and a fantastic story teller. Keep it up, dude!
Silent Hill was also a major reason I got into urbex, and why I found this channel. Also, glad to see your stance on the ghost hunting reducing a bit. I enjoyed them once in a while, but I was skipping most of those. I'm more in it for the exploration videos. Ghost hunting is only fun in places I haven't seen people go before.
Thank you soooooo much for returning here! Im shocked at the changes but also astounded at the beauty. Im a OG, so big hug or if you prefer a handshake 😊❤ there is nothing more fun than to watch someone document abando that has a passion for it. Thank you for going places and sharing... I am unable to visit there but through this video I got to see it and learn even more about it ❤
Hi Josh this video was awesome I watched Dave's video on this place and I love how both of you're were totally different. Thanks I really enjoyed the history of this place. Take care.
I love that you came back Josh! Welcome to my stomping grounds! Oh and the last straw event for graffiti highway is a bunch of people gathered and someone lit a fire and the fire company was called
aaaw the clip of baby Josh with his big hair! thank you for the videos! every time Josh puts the camera down and walks away, I just think about how now he has to walk back and get it... getting the steps in
Eerie but beautiful. Perfect words to describe this place. I loved your original video from here, and it is so great to see you back there and how it has changed. I can't believe they covered the graffiti highway. It was such a spectacular site. Damn council party poopers. Thanks Josh for taking us back to Centralia.
The reason why I love your videos it’s because you show passion and share the rich history, finding answers vs other channels they do ghost hunting as comedy, jump scares or as a rush. Difficult to explain it.
Do whatever you love bro I still enjoy your videos and any content you drop that’s a reason I been subscribed for years and ngl I just enjoy the vibe and the feeling of watching your videos is kinda nostalgic or sum 😂💯
Been watching your videos for years. These kinds are the ones that hit the most. I know you are trying to always revolutionize, not just for the channel but for yourself as well. But hopefully we get to see more old school Josh videos just like this. Cheers!
Dude, we really like your new narrative format - your videos have just gained informational value exponentially. Our whole family’s viewing your episodes every Sunday. Thx & congrats!
Hi josh i know u dont read these but thank u for going back to abandoned videos. They are my favorite…this is so fascinating.. very sad how the town covered up graffiti highway. Makes no sense, you’d think they would want all the tourists coming to the area, it helps the businesses there. You rock, keep up these type videos! Its what made us fall in love with your channel. We dont need the ghost stuff! ❤
not much there but when u look past the superficial it’s an insane atmosphere. was here like a week before you for the first time and was gifted with a dense fog at like 1am. going back to shoot in winter so it’ll look better with barren trees. that boarded house still a mystery to me I got to see it in the fog. nice u went back again tho bro
Josh, another exciting video, just love your channel they are always exciting and irmative you and your group have taken us all to places we have never seen or are likely to ever see, so thank you for that, do however take extra care, and as long as you make these videos we will all keep watching, love to all of you there, Mrs Ann Carolan, from Southern Ireland, xx.
also being from new england, you should consider haunted places in south america, canada, and alaska. I bet Alaska has a lot of untold situations. You can handle cold, so that's a plus.
Really sucks what happened to Centralia during covid… I live pretty close and my buddies and I used to always go just to get out of the house and hangout but we started to get adventurous and go at night and do paranormal investigations although we did collect a few things on those night trips, I truly don’t think any of it will ever surface on the internet! Thanks for sharing brings back tons of memories and joy!
I think your first visit to Centralia was the first video I saw of your channel ever years ago. It's great that you went back to look at it again! The atmosphere is one of a kind.

Personally, I like seeing the different perspectives of people covering the same haunted locations so i enjoy watching everyone. BUT I think it's very honorable that you're staying true to you and your original content which has always been EXPLORING!
Awesome video Josh! I remember watching those older videos in high school and watching this one made it feel nostalgic eerie and cozy oddly enough 😭 heading to watch Silent Hill!! Stay safe
It’s wild, my mother grew up in Centralia and went to that church regularly. Her parents (my grandparents) are both buried in that cemetery. Sad and odd to see what the town looks like today … 😢

It's really funny because I remember when you guys were on your way there back in 2016. I was working at an Arby's about 45 mins away that John stopped at. Glad you guys decided to come back
Great video Josh. Had no idea this area existed. It is crazy how you would not even know there was a town there . The boarded house is interesting. Thank you for all your hard work!! Truly appreciate it! ❤😮😂 You guys being safe in your travels. KLB

Wow it said video on 16hrs ago and I checked during that time about 10 times i looked and never showed the thumbnail for this video till this morning. Can't wait to see this it's gonna be awesome.
Welcome back to Pa! I live in PA! Couple hours for centralia! I never got to visit Centralia cause they put dirt on the road and locked it down but I love you went and made a video!! This is awesome thanks!
