    That's what separates lebron and kobe. Kobe gets standing ovation and mvp chants on the road while lebron only gets that at home and not always.

    OH MY GOODNESS!!! He hit like 15 drifters across the paint. !!! n I just watched the mj video before this thinking it wouldn't seem as good. But boy was I wrong. THIS BLOWS THAT OUT OF THE WATER!! THE MAN GOT A STANDING OVATION!!! Naturally the Kobe v mj debate surfaces. I don't think he's on mjs level. But when he's on, he's the most unstoppable offensive force ever seen from a perimeter player.

  • @chieferalex9402

    Kobe came into the league knowing how many years he will play in the NBA, Jordan might be a better player statistically but if you think about it, he ended his career with the wizards. Thing I love about Kobe is he played his FIRST GAME in a Laker jersey and WILL RETIRE in a Laker Jersey. Look at how many players have done that over the years? very very very few. Especially with how many championships Kobe has, he will be the first one to ever do that. Kobe has my respect for life.

    NY Bricks fans, let me give you some facts.. Melo scores 62 in the garden, didn't even qualify for the playoffs. Kobe scores 61 in the garden, 2009 NBA Champs.

  • @ridiculous_sublime
    @ridiculous_sublime 15 лет назад

    I think he's the best all around scorer to ever play the game. Notice I said scorer. As a player, he's top 10 or top 5 all around ever. But scoring wise, you just have to look at it. He scored 62 in 3 quarters against a mavs team that only scored 61. If he stayed in, arguably he would've single handedly outscored the opponet! That's ridiculous. It just doesn't make sense.

  • @brainiac101693
    @brainiac101693 13 лет назад

    @2010raquan I'd give him at least one 40 point game against starks. Everybody has their night when they're just feeling it.

  • @gr8jugslvr1

    I think the 46 Kobe scored back in 2003 at MSG was as impressive, if not more impressive because Kobe was much more athletic back then, and because of that famous reverse dunk over Latrell Sprewell.

    Yes I think so but Last year he went 4 games in a row 40+ streak with 41, 46,43, 49, I think. And then had 51 in 2010 I think. I was hoping would go off at MSG last night but his back was killing him from carying all that dead team weight on his back!

    I see two comparable players, but had different opportunities. The only common factore between them is Phil Jackson. Kobe never had another guard that was on Scottie Pippen's level, and Jordan never had an amazing center such as Shaq. Jordan was a better ball handler, passer, and driving to the hoop. Kobe was better at being explosive, jump shooting, and making difficult shots.
    Which would you rather have on your team? That's 100% personal choice. They give you about an equal shot to win IMO.

  • @themantien
    @themantien 14 лет назад

    @saintsboy2821 i doubt it. he should be in his prime now. once he gets kobe's age and gets the wear and tear from all the years, his body might not able to withstand taking it to the rim frequently. He's gonna be forced to take outside jumpshots and we'll know how that will go down

    sigh at all u kids saying "kobes better than MJ", "kobes the greatest scorer ever" etc etc.
    I want all u kobe fans to look up "kobe bryant career achievements" in google than look up "MJ career achievements".
    After doing that, look up MJs stats than Kobes stats.
    Can u still say kobe is the better player? HELL NO.
    If u kids can have a sense of objectivity, u can conclude that MJ>KOBE by a mile. But when u like someone and idolise them so much it can be hard... but just try and b objective..

  • @loplification

  • @psingone
    @psingone 12 лет назад

    I would say his jumper is better not including this season and at a much younger age than MJ in his prime. Having said that he aint the killer MJ was, he is closest but not on same level. In Kobe defense MJ didnt have a gaurd prevelant league like now with the like of Lebron, Duran, Westbrook, Wade, DWilliams just to name a few to compete with. Very few guards with MJ skillset back in the day were Kobe has everyone trying to do what he does now.

    Bill Russel the best defender of "all time"??!! When did that silly notion start taking hold anywhere but the delusional Celtics fanbase? You put Bill Russel or Wilt Chamberlain in todays game, they wouldn't be half as good. You put MJ or Kobe in the 60's or the 70's, and they completely dominate anyone and everyone.

  • @woutakasinistra
    @woutakasinistra 12 лет назад

    @loplification Are you serious? I love Kobe, but MJ was more efficient, an even better competitor, and a more willing passer than Kobe has ever been... Kobe's top 10 of all-time though for me

    he was good that year but LeBron is still a better player OVERALL. Kobe is a better scorer for sure when his shot is on but YOU MUST ADMIT LeBron is a better rebounder, passer, and has much stronger drives to the basket. Also he can play all 5 positions and has superb help defense.

    Dont you think with 2days everything Wilt would have probably still scored 100? Only reason why I would agree with you is if it was a close game but they would foul him unless he is nasty on the free throw line then he would easy to get it. 2days defensive 3 secs it would be a bit annoying, but it would be MJs bday every game. Now If it was during the MJ era with the Celtics, Bad Boys, Knicks and Houston. I doubt he'll b allowed to average that much, maybe game avg would b between MJs avg & 44.
