Selamlar, size bir sorum var. Digital kameramla fotoğraf çekince display siyah gözüküyor. Shutter’a basıp resim çektiğinde de siyah çıkıyor.

What kind of light bulb I have to use to discharge the capacitor. I thought flash capacitors have like hundreds of volts

300+ volts but drains very quickly. You don't need to use a light bulb. You can use a big power resistor. Some high watt resistor with metal or ceramic case. Bulbs are easy because you see the light while you discharge and they are easy to find. 220v bulb works fine. I didn't try 110v bulbs but if they get burned you can try connecting multiple bulbs. Someone tried this with a 12v bulb and he got a nice explosion... Low voltage bulbs are a no no
😂 I tired a 220V bulb, not sure if I fully discharge it or not , I saw another video mentioning shorting the capacitor can discharge it as well , and POM , there u go an explosion and a slightly melted tweezers.... Not sure if the capacitor is still fine or not 😅

Thats why we use something else than shorting them out. We short only the low voltage capacitors. I guess you feel younger now. Unhappy tweezers. Capacitor will be fine if it wasn't already defective before you discharged it.
Hi dear I have one TRIOPO speedlight L870 its highest category model in TRIOPO. It has issue when I start it I can hear zoom in out noise and it give display control and in instant its getting blank but green screen. I have checked display connection cleared it and then again assembled it still has the same issue. Since many days it had same problem some times it works with all features, some time it shows the green screen but now its not working Can you give me your expert advise

It can be a software issue. If there is a problem with the software you can try reinstalling the software. But i dont know if your flash can do that. Other possibility is a bad connection. You need to resolder the connections on the circuit.
excellent teardown many thanks. I feel confident taking it apart and reassembling thanks to you but where do you get replacement parts from as I cant find anywhere in UK ?! My SB800 won't go into SU4 mode and I suspect it's the slave photodiode SS512-23 that goes to CN12 on the PCB as it works OK in normal Remote mode speaking to a Nikon Commander and TTL is OK.

I never had any nikon flash with that fault so i dont know what to expect. Maybe one of the sensor for tilt/pan or diffuser is not working because i dont think flash will prevent you from selecting su4 mode if the diode is not working. But maybe you are right, i hope you will figure it out. You can check aliexpress for some parts but your best next option is buying another flash. I buy them broken if i can to salvage parts.
Did you replace the part or just clean it? I noticed in the video that you cleaned the LCD, which product did you use?
Thank you for your very helpful video. Can you Please , Please, Please make a short video on how you made your discharge incandescent light...PLease
Sure. I can make a short video
I see you've done this a few times before.
The bulb glowed really bright, imagine how much power the capacitor holds
enough power to make you dance or gave out instant barbequed flesh smell
Good job, good description.
Hello, my sb 800 is not turning on. Its not been used for 3 months. I tried different battery. No luck.
It is possible that old batteries leaked and corroded the battery contacts. Check inside the flash for rust.

@ Thanks for the info, hahahaha definitely find myself younger 😂 the path of learning, experimenting and explosions is just so fun 😂

Thanks a lot !
0.50 - Yeap, so that's why I've been electrocuted while I was trying to repair mine...
First times are always special
@ LOL. Right, though it's not my first time electrocuting myself
@@danifrim I got 220v line voltage shocks before and I got used to them. But that high voltage man... Always like the first day.
Whats voltage bulb is 100v or more
220 volts but you can try 110 if you have it may work. it may explode.
