It's the Reuben sandwich that has the 1000 island salad dressing, corned beef & then grilled, like u would a grilled cheese.
The mint stripped, the lemon & the lime cookies are all delish.

Try rubber bands instead of clothes pins to close up opened bags of goodies. They are cheaper, easier to store, and never fall off!! I even use them in the freezer for open bags. Try it and credit me please.

My husband puts hot sauce on his mac and cheese. He only uses Louisiana brand though. And I will take all the things that are chocolate and coconut!!

Didn't see on the front of the package how much fat. Protein and calories for a 4 oz serving, yes. I saw 200 calories for a 4 oz serving, so, at 50 calories an ounce, doesn't sound like it would be too high in fat. Might have to try that instead of Steakumm to make a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich.
I used to be a die hard Hellman fan but someone told me the Berman was made by the Hellman's Co. so I decided to try because it was cheaper than Hellman mayo. I Could not tell the difference. Now Berman's mayo is my favorite.

I always love finding new Aldi's to see what they have, not all are the same. We have two within 25 minutes of each other, if our closest one is out of something I will run to the other to try and find it. 😀

The Aldi you went into looks like how our Aldi's is in the next town over.
We used to have a small Aldi connected to our Walmart. They took that away and built the new Aldi we use. But it's like 30 mins away & we don't get their often. I want to once kids get back in to school. I'll start shopping at Sam's at least once a month or 2 and Aldi.
Ours is big like that and has a lot of options. I usually grab a pizza there.

Friend. I make my family sized box o' brownies in a.. 8 inch I think cake pan. I love it. I just cut them into slices like pie. I don't love the edge but it doesn't get as hard when I do this (I butter and cocoa up the pan so it won't stick) and it's great. Everyone gets a center piece and everyone gets an edge (yuck).
Well, I decided to think back to my days working in dietetics: If 4 oz of the shaved beef has 200 calories and has 22 gms of protein, with 4 calories in a gram of protein, that's 88 calories from protein. That leaves the rest of the calories (112) from fat. 112 divided by 9, the number of calories in a gram of fat, is a little less than 12.5 calories in a 4 oz serving, or just over 3 grams of fat per oz. Not bad. Like I suspected, the Steakumm is higher in fat. A cooked portion (32 grams -- a little over ONE ounce) has 100 calories and 9 grams of fat. That's 81 calories from fat -- in just a little over an ounce. This serving also contains 5 grams of protein (x 4) = 20 calories from protein. That comes out to 101 calories per serving. Yes, I know the label said 100 calories for a 32 gram cooked serving. The package said 80 calories from fat, but 9 grams of fat (x 9) comes out to 81 calories. Hope there's still some shaved beef at my Aldi.
I grew up with my mother using Hellman's then I started using it. But once I tried Duke's I haven't used Hellman's since.
So, this is an older built Aldi, looks to me like it was built in the early 2000s, they did like a majority of their stores remodel & renovate the exterior & interior of the stores, I say older store because it has those small yellowish floor tiles that the majority of their stores still have.
Meghan the lemon truffles are not bad but lack on lemon flavor. As for the chickpea pasta is good only cooks on 6 min. Crofton is an excellent product. I have the doupe of the forever pan and I love it. Cleans easy. I don't cook on high with it. But I cook a lot of things in that pan. Now I need to go to Aldi and get the lemon cookies. My family has the George foreman to but with the switchable plates so you can do pancakes in it but we do them on the stove but pannis and waffles are the to to if you have the one with the switchable plates and they're easier to clean pop out the plates wash them up then but the set in there back or a different set you do you.
Ooo! I've never seen the George Foreman with waffle plates. It definitely sounds like an easy way to clean things up!

Mayonnaise is pretty expensive everywhere lately, especially with these 15-16 oz containers. I try to make my own sometimes. It's a little tricky getting the consistency right, but I'm willing to try before I buy any more mayo. Bought a 15 oz jar from Walmart because I needed to make deviled eggs for a Fourth of July get-together, but after it's, gone, I'm trying homemade again. I don't get why mayo's so steep, especially since eggs have come down in price.
I tried Duke’s mayonnaise. It was ok. Went back to Hellman’s. I think it depends on what you had while growing up.

I guess for the lemon cookie and cake fans, this Aldi store has the motherlode. I personally don't like lemon baked goods. Citrus juices are fine, popsicles, fine just not baked goods.
I never buy the 12 pack of those limited edition flavored Cokes. I always but a 20 oz bottle to try it. Not committing to 12 cans of a flavor I don't even know if I'll like. This is probably the limited edition Coke I liked the best. Still not a fan of buying ANY Coke in the 12 pack. Just don't want to drink that much Coke.
