I'm thinking that the reason why the Archbishops almost always introduce them by their star name immediately, and have star names specifically-- is that so that she can get her hands on the person who recognized them(it would confirm that they're really from that world as well). Be it because she thinks that Flugel will spawn(for example, as Subaru) or because she wants to meet someone who comes from his world.

This has been one of my two favorite Re:Zero theories for a while, and I'm glad it finally got covered in a video by a Re:Zero content creator. Loved the video! Keep up the great work :)
Re Zero is actually so amazing because it's just really deep and connected, it's kind of like a really hard and thoughtful puzzle that doesn't fit together, but when it does it just leaves such a lasting impression. I feel like very very small details in the anime and LN are going to be very very important later on.
flugel trial in the watchtower wasnt impossible to solve tough. He gave plenty of hints on how to deal with it: from the title of shaula which is the STAR keeper of the tower, to the magic that clouded the sky so people wont see the stars at night(making the think about the sky in fact), to the scorpion tail which shaula talked of (not ponytail, must be intentional here to indicate shaula isnt hte target of the riddle directly), to the fact that black objects into a white field are the opposite of the sky(monoliths into the white space which is the first trial), that you need to change your perspective to solve the riddle, after that seeing how the shape of the stars remember of animal shapes find the scorpion and then one of the two stars that are her eyes should be the answer(i checked the position of rigel and betelgeuse). So all in all is a trial of deduction
The real key to the first trial was knowing that Betelgeuse is a variable star and the over time Rigel has a greater luminosity if you integrate over time. That is highly esoteric knowledge that only someone like me, or a astro otaku like Subaru, would know. For me, this is the strongest evidence that Subaru and Flugel are the same person. Or, at the very least, Flugel had a way to predict the future in a very precise manner.

Flugel is Subaru and Satella is Emilia. They kill WoE then get sent back 400 years to try to fix things, Subaru is forced to give Emilia the envy factor and she is overtaken by the power. Subaru them finishes setting up for the future and heads to the world's core to counteract the witch of envy and he stays there until his original goes back in time, then makes his move to save Satella aka Emilia

The Echidna whose birth Flugel was involved in was not the Echidna you are thinking of. It was a Great Spirit like Puck, not the witch herself. Also, keep in mind that the Echidna that Subaru met in the sanctuary was not "The Echidna" herself either.

I like your theory about Stride and Al's name. Just offering a different perspective but we've seen no evidence that Stride had the Authority of Pride (or at least we've seen no sign of him using it) so maybe that's why he didn't get the special name. Pandora might be indifferent to the leadership of the cult unless said leader actually possesses a witch factor so the leaders of the Witch Cult who DON'T have witch factors (like Guese) don't get star names until they do acquire a witch factor. Guese was a leader of the moderate branch of cult but Pandora only acknowledged him after he absorbed sloth. I still think we know basically nothing about who Pandora is or what she wants (and for somebody who is being depicted as possibly the series primary villain, that's pretty weird 7 arcs in) except for whatever is behind the door. I have crazy theory about rui and subaru in arc 7 . In arc 6 it is said when rui appeared spirit room witch was healing them stopped healing them and if she is a spirit who was healing them she might mske contract with subaru so he wont die due his broken gate in arc 7 what do you think of this?

I know next to nothing about Emerada Lugunica, but based on the small paragraphs from Arc 5, & all the various descriptions of the Sin Archbishop of Lust, Capella Emerada Lugunica, there's little doubt in my mind that the Unholy Princess Emerada Lugunica & the Unholy Princess Capella Emerada Lugunica are the same person. Based on what we have seen of her in Arc 5, & Meili's Recollections in Arc 6, it very much fits the description of someone whose death date would be overlooked, & people would be relieved over.
A little theory of mine : (I just randomly came up with it, so I thought why not share it) It is possible that the world of Re Zero is in fact Earth where Subaru and all the other isekaied people came from but in the future (I'm talking about thousands of years in the future) and that Od Laguna (whatever that is exactly) came from space. Od Laguna is the source of mana and blessings in Re Zero, so I can see that after colliding on Earth, much like the meteor with the dinosaurs, it caused humanity to go extinct and spend a lot of time stabilising itself and melting with the world, shaping it completely anew. The witch factors are the antithesis of Od Laguna (or blessings) and the author has stated that they would work on Earth but mana and blessings not. Blessings need Od Laguna to work but witch factors don't and witch factors are far stronger than blessings. So I would say the witch factors are chunks of od laguna that rejected or refused melting with Earth, making them the antithesis of Od Laguna. It would explain why stars play such a major role in Re Zero. Od Laguna itself came from the stars as Subaru knew them. The world of Re Zero as it is now has been shaped by the stars. Flugel somehow found out about the origins/past of Od Laguna thanks to his connection with it (he is/was supposedly its master or something) and made plans according to details of what he saw. This would imply that Re Zero has never been an isekai but a time travel series to the future, which would be in my opinion a ridiculously awesome plottwist that let's us question everything we have known so far. In Memory Snow there is a scene where Subaru points out to a star in the night sky to be the North Star only for Beatrice to say that he is pointing in the south direction. How funny would it be to realise that Subaru may have actually been right and it is indeed the north star but due to the passing of time the stars position has changed, now being the south star instead of north.

The deeper you go into the rabbit hole, the more you get evidence to the theory that Satella was framed. And that makes me even more shocked cuz Psyculturist guessed that before reaching the second cour of season 1. He even almost guessed the entire plot of Arc 6 and 7. That guy is nuts. He can literally tell you the entire story of Re:Zero without even having touched it beyond season 1 content.

The maps of the Re:Zero world also seem to be based on the stars, or a specific star map on a specific day. The locations in the Re:Zero world seem to match up with stars as viewed from somewhere around Tokyo Japan on 2012/04/20 at around 20 : 00 to 21 : 58 ... This is the day and approximate time when the first post of the web novel was made. The Pleiades Watchtower matches the location of the Pleiades star cluster, the Auriga Sand Dunes match the constellation and all the other locations seem to match closely with some star or celestial body and some of those named stars or celestial bodies have names that are relevant to the story. It could be coincidence but there sure are a lot of them... as many as there are stars in that map. >;)~
5:30 didn't Al literally fight Capella? And it wasn't just the "witch cult disagreeing" fight like with Regulus vs Sirius earlier in the arc. They were actually on opposite sides... idk I think this plot twist is gonna be really good
Theory, subaru when he got isekai to re zero world, his existence got split in two. One got sent to past and became flugel, and other half in future who we are following. In future arc when both will become one, we will see memory of flugel 400 years ago.
I'm not so sure, it seems like Flugel's actions were done knowing what was going to happen in future events. Like planting the Flugel tree, having Shaula guard the Pleiades Watchtower and creating the trials at the Pleiades Watchtower.
Subaru will go back in time, become whole again, plant the tree, make the trials, go back to the future and become the new sage. And do you know where the witch factors really came from Subaru brought it from future and leave it in past. Creating a bootstrap paradox. But that's just a theory
Well the seat of envy isn't empty as satella is still alive. But satella and Subaru do have some kind of contract where she uses RBD on him. So he technically is Envy and a sage candidate....

You clearly forgot that Re zero world star sky is absolutely different from ours. This test was 100% made for "sage" of the world travelers.

In Memory Snow there is a scene where Subaru points out to a star in the night sky to be the North Star only for Beatrice to say that he is pointing in the south direction. How funny would it be to realise that Subaru may have actually been right and it is indeed the north star but due to the passing of time the stars position has changed, now being the south star instead of north.

He doesn't really pinpoint any specific plontpoint ideas, he just brought up the Idea of how Rem and Subaru would behave if they lost their memories because he saw the White Whale erase memories and shit.

The maps of the Re:Zero world also seem to be based on the stars, or a specific star map on a specific day. The locations in the Re:Zero world seem to match up with stars as viewed from somewhere around Tokyo Japan on 2012/04/20 at around 20 : 00 to 21 : 58 ... This is the day and approximate time when the first post of the web novel was made. The Pleiades Watchtower matches the location of the Pleiades star cluster, the Auriga Sand Dunes match the constellation and all the other locations seem to match closely with some star or celestial body and some of those named stars or celestial bodies have names that are relevant to the story. It could be coincidence but there sure are a lot of them... as many as there are stars in that map.

Theory, subaru when he got isekai to re zero world, his existence got split in two. One got sent to past and became flugel, and other half in future who we are following.
In future arc when both will become one, we will see memory of flugel 400 years ago.
I'm not so sure, it seems like Flugel's actions were done knowing what was going to happen in future events. Like planting the Flugel tree, having Shaula guard the Pleiades Watchtower and creating the trials at the Pleiades Watchtower.
Subaru will go back in time, become whole again, plant the tree, make the trials, go back to the future and become the new sage.
And do you know where the witch factors really came from Subaru brought it from future and leave it in past. Creating a bootstrap paradox.
