dont beat urself up, that content creation grind is hard and u make good stuff. i like ur builds, maybe you could experiment with different builds like incorporating death or magma, blood, even bubble spells. and different incantation casting builds are cool too, you could even do a caster build with different ashes of war like a wind warrior or something just using synergestic ashes. just some ideas, keep it up tho!!
I would try doing a dragon combo build! bloodflame talons, dragonclaw, ancient dragon's lightning spear, it's great stuff. At max cast speed there are lots of rollcatches to be had
@@muthafoca9409 Ye, that's the other thing about shield use, is that you've also gotta know how to dodge. It's supposed to be a supplement for your defense, not a replacement! Mage play is great for training your offensive & defensive timings that also benefit other builds.
I really want the remastered soundtrack, i loved some of the remastered versions in that game. The remastered version of “Fight with seymour” was perfect

I really enjoy casting builds. I would suggest a Casting Arcane build, mixing dragon roar, dragon maw, etc, and interesting bleed weapons like Morgott's Cursed Sword or Moghs Spear.
11:23 668 HP at Level 168 is actually wild. What's even worse is both players weren't even casting spells so there's no real justification for leveling mind over HP.
It boggles the mind how bad some people manage to be. Sometimes I encounter players so bad that I gaslight myself into believing they were just trolling, no one could possibly be that bad

Not this specific accusation but it seems like people are constantly accusing him of things with no evidence. I'll hear that he did something, look for it on youtube and google, find nothing, ask the commenter where they heard it, and then radio silence. Thats usually what happens lol

Its not some secret or conspiracy lol thats been one of his friends since ds3 and the entire chat there knows him, the guy isnt some kind of plant that jee put there. I do agree that jee should have handled that whole situation better tho

If the purpose of Eternal Darkness is to prevent mages from rushing in and spamming, then it actually did its job perfectly. it made you back off for the entire duration it was active. Your opponents did nothing to take advantage of it, but that's on them.

Great stuff! How fast do you find invasions in the 160 level area? I never went above 125 since I am afraid I might not be able to find anyone...But I kinda wanna push to 150 or above for some build variety since 125 is hell as an caster only. Also, nice set ups and I really believe magic in this game requires a ton of skill to use effectively, it is just kinda cringe any annoying how mages are portrayed as the "run away pew pew no skill" class even tho the burn and turn tactic as a melee is 100x more annoying and efficient. I could write a damn essay about how unbalanced melee builds are in this game. Most ashes of wards already counter almost any spell and do WAY to much dmg, even their access towards Greatbows with Golem's Great Arrows makes them better than any caster could ever imagine.
Well i have both a 137 and 168 build and the activity feels the same to me. It just depends on the time of day i guess. You’ll find alot more activity in the evenings and at nights. I do get fog walled alot though but thats because i think the interest in the game rightnow is pretty low and theres not many people co oping
So yea dont worry about going over 150 theres still people to invade, i even have a lvl 188 character and i get non stop invasions on that one, even more the 168 build. Overwhelming majority of the playerbase doesnt care about the meta anyways

Outside of the spells, it's a shame that Caster gameplay mechanics are so barebones in Elden Ring. It's disappointing how much dead space the controls have if you don't convert into a Spellblade build.

I love them mage invasions. Was a strength guy ever since ds1 but i fell in love with the mage playstyle of elden ring
Same for me but i really started to like mage builds when i played dark souls 3, but then elden ring just did mage builds better
item swapping to erdtree greatshield is a strength build's answer, but that takes the presence of mind to actually do it

Fun fact. Spinning weapon from the staff will true combo into carian slicer. You can 1 shot a lot of people

I do that a lot! I usually can hit 2 slices (but 1 slice is guaranteed !!) You can also combo it with carian piercer, doing a bunch of damage.
