This is really on the cheap side. I've lived in Miami since 2011. I've had single bedroom apts in Kendall (suburb of Miami) Ive paid between $1,400 and $1,700/month for the apartments. That's nothing fancy. Cable and internet is about $120/month. Electricity is like $75/month. Car insurance $140/month. Tolls like $50/month. Car payment (varies) Groceries (varies) Entertainment (varies but is expensive in Miami..drinks and lunch for 2 on south beach? $120 easy) My suggestion..move further north like Orlando or the West Coast of FL, way cheaper!

12:45 - Well...My life style is cheap. I eat only raw and vegan food and use bike to go at anywhere. Take care of my "catdoughters" is the thing more expensive that I have, lolol. My hobbies are simple ike...biking tour (exploring cities), camping, play gitar, watch Netflix or Prime, reading and etc. Beside that live in a simple neighbourhood it would not be difficult to me. My actual reality it's already this way. So...I think I'd survive very well in Miami with a income around $ 2500, lololol

@@LivingInMiami thx for advise. Love your videos about Miami, good work. I am willing to move to Miami to be fully and only in music industry, and catch some residency, as for me its the best place for music (being dj, producer, artist). Its kind of a moment for me, now (next 2 years) or never, as i want this all my life. So next year i am gonna do tour, like a vacation to visit first Miami to get real feeling of place, get visit some clubs and friends i have there and decide further. So when i will plan on moving, i think i would maybe start with some studio renting or small condo. Do you have advise which part of Miami should be better to avoid to live? And where are the best clubs, in which part, or like place that is more crowded with clubs/bars etc? Thx

I just moved out of Miami: Paying 2500-3000 rent, driving 2-3 hours a day for work, and having to deal with so many issues with safety, prices and people's nastiness has driven me out of there. I could not make it anymore; Miami is about to explode. I have never seen so much misery and crime. For the last 6 months, I have been seeing entire families with kids begging for change in traffic lights. Crime is off the roof and people are cramping to afford rent. 2-3 families in 2-bedroom apartments are the norm now. People rent beds for day sleepers, sofas to newcomers, and U-hauls in parking lots where people are living for 20 bucks a day. Can't even find a U-Haul to move out of there because of it. Hialeah, Cutler Bay, Naranja, Florida City, and even Kendall or Brickell are common places where you see poverty and desperation in the streets. Approach any woman anywhere and listen to them straight out asking for 200 bucks "to pay rent" in exchange for a "date". Straight up prostitution from normal working people. I worked in South Beach for the last 2 years and even there you see the decay. I know so many families moving or already moved out and full businesses leaving the area. I left almost a month ago and my boss is calling me daily to go back until they find a replacement because no one can take my job. Why? they don't pay enough, and the newcomers are all wealthy New Yorkers that won't work for him.
Miami, you got what you deserve.

Ive noticed they look rough on the outside and then are updated and clean on the inside.
