Rauf was the pre-cursor to Steph Curry: quick release, worked great off the ball, but his range wasn't as long as Curry (no one is). Notice how physical Richmond got with Jordan, basically just moving sideways and bumping him, no way that happens today. Yet today's kids say guys couldn't shoot the 3 and weren't as athletic back then.
Not agree for Rauf being a pre-cursor to Steph Curry. I don't think Steph Curry want to be like Rauf he wants to be like Steph Curry, or a little Jordan with a 3 pt skill!
Something that I just started noticing that appears as a phenomenon of the second three-peat era is the United Ctr’s crowds extended applause after each basket (particularly for MJ), the initial cheers would settle down and you’d still hear the applause afterwards which is really cool and made the atmosphere feel much different
Nearly forgot about how regal those split jerseys from the Kings of this era was; also, you’d think a backcourt of sharpshooters (Abdul-Rauf/Richmond) would be lethal but in the loaded West, unfortunately not 😔
Jordan shut down Richmond to 4 points on 1/14 FG this game, his lowest point total of his 25.9 PPG season. Sadly I can't find the full game on youtube.
The Bulls won 69 games this season, so the basically they did back-to-back 70 games. But most importantly, they won the chip both times!

Very true and good observation...
But the Stadium was still much, much louder.....
Mickey Johnson oh most definitely, that was a whole other worldly feeling I’m sure (never seen the games live there but one can only imagine!)
Great gift for New Years Eve!Thanks once again AlexMJ!

There's a lot of teams in the 90s that, you look at their roster and wonder how they could have had bad records. Hell, look at the Lakers this season!
Thanks again alexmj!

Ok!!! I found my favorite Bulls game of all time!!!
8:23 Is this Salvadori's RUclips debut? Huge.
Rauf is the only nba player that don’t sweat.
Do you have highlights of Bulls/Heat from 12/25/1997?
it will be done later with 98 season
Do you have any highlights or full game when the kings played the warriors I believe March 10th of 96 when Richmond banked in the game winning 3ptr?
I definitely love my bulls in these days but that abdul rauff dow .main that guy could have played .
this same day, there was a warzone 2 people vs like 15 police and 7-8 swat
A squirrel was also hit by a car on this same day, too.
North Hollywood shootout.
