Honestly the bits where you are playing that are not there to showcase something that has to sound like Queens etc feel very inspiring. Sure the influence is still there but it sounds like you are playing more freely, instead of trying to play "a riff that sounds like x".

I'm so slow at learning solos, so I will probably never do it. But I've heard it's a earthquaker devices tentacle combined with a fuzz of some sort.
You should try out the behringer super fuzz if you havent i think you would really dig it for cheap
Sometimes it's nice to switch things up. I've gone from clean amps only back to channel-switching amps (the ones that happen to have great clean channels, such as the laney ironheart, synergy stuff, Fryette, ENGL, etc), and sometimes trying something perks you right back up.
Pretty cool guitar, but when we talking about inspiration to play, in my case it is Neural DSP Tone King Imperial plugin. Awesome amp model! Greetings from Poland.

I have a single pickup LP but I can't get on with having just one P/U. I grew up playing guitars with 2 or 3 P/U's so why would I want less? People say you can get a neck P/U sound by adjusting the volume and tone knobs on the guitar but I disagree - it sounds like a bridge P/U with the tone turned down. I wonder if you'll grow tired of this guitar....Either way I dig your videos, cheers mate.
