The soundcores and earfuns regularly go on sale for 60-65 €(Yes I'm European) whereas I haven't found the Oneplus Buds3 below 90€ yet. That's a 40-50 price increase for the oneplus buds. The Earfuns and Soundcores are definately where the value is it.
For me ANC is the most important, and the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC has to be the best for the price and is even better than some flagships for ANC. After getting the soundcore the flagships seem overpriced and I'm just paying for status.
Honestly, I think the OnePlus Buds 3 are the best in this test. Good sound 🔊, relatively compact charging case, better control (with swipe for volume), and above all very good microphone in noisy environments. As for the ANC, as long as earbuds do better than the Airpod Pro 1, that's more than enough for me, and I think for most people, OnePlus has a winner there. Ps: Perhaps the only shortcomings are the lack of LC3 and Auracast, which would have made them really future proof.

Please do mention about the mono mode support in earbuds (left and right channel coming out from single earbud mode). Like liberty 4 nc doesn't support mono mode. While air 3 pro support it.
Those dual drivers just sound better than the others especially in the mids. I didn't think the mids were very important in the past but now I know they add fullness to the overall sound quality. Thanks for the review again. 💯🔥🔥🇺🇸
The OnePlus app looks like my Earfun Air Pro 3's app. I fell in love with these Earfun Air Pro 3's. All the HD Audio, APTx codecs just auto change in my S24 Ultra developer options. Which auto detects your buds or what they have to offer. You can not change tgese settings manually. It will just auto detect & changes for you. Which I thought was kind of cool
@bjperez9076 The right earbud on both pairs failed to both produce sound, and both pairs right side earbuds refused to charge. No idea why they both failed in exactly the same way and w/in the same amount of time. I tried cleaning the contacts on both pairs and both cases, and I did the "hard reset" procedure on both of the pairs. Currently waiting on a pair of the new Earfun Air Pro 4's. They're stem style too, just like the ONEPLUS. A lot of reviewers are very enthusiastic about those because they are very feature-packed for the price, have great customizability, and reportedly have great sound quality for money spent. I'm waiting on them now from Amazon's U.S. site, but I just got an email a few hours ago saying that they're encountering a shipping delay with the order, and now they're estimating a 2 week delay in the time it's going to take from my order placement date to the delivery date for my order. I've been a Prime member for years and have never experienced anything like this. All of my orders up til now have always been delivered w/in the normal 2-3 business day window. Of course I can't know the exact specifics of my order situation, but I'm thinking that all of the very positive reviews for the new Earfun Air Pro 4"s have made it very difficult to try to keep up with the demand. Just my thoughts on the matter. Sorry this reply has been so long-winded, and I hope that whatever your choice for your next earbuds, that it will work out for you. Hope this reply helps! 🙂

I just got the Oneplus Buds 3 and can confirm that the noise canceling ability shown here is pretty on par to real life. I'm impressed by the Liberty 4 NC, but it does seem like it has a lot more white noise than the Buds 3. Sound quality is pretty incredible tho, however I did discover that for some reason when I use it to watch TV (Panasonic FX750 series) there's a lot of sibilance. I don't have this issue with my PC or iPhone, but it's really distracting to say the least. The shallow fit makes them really easy to wear even if it means you don't get great passive noise isolation. Most IEMs make my ears tired or painful, these disappear basically. I do have to say, I'm not a fan of their bulky glossy look, it really stands out in a bad way.
I would pick earfun for best all rounder in this competition. Oneplus price is higher here. So apple to apple it's earfun vs SC. Microphone on liberty 4c is rather too muffled though the ANC is a clear winner but upon using the ANC we're still turning on the music, in real life scenario, that being said earfun's ANC is adequate while the microphone is more usable than the 4nc
Do you recommend eartip replacements for these such as the SpinFit CP1025, SednaEarfit Xelastec or any others? Do you know the nozzle diameter on the oneplus bud3? Also would cheap Magnetic AirPods Straps fit the oneplus and do you think it would get in the way of the touch controls? TIA

Realme is rhe exception but even though they have their own app , the actual features are prettymuch the same as hey melody so kinda pointless
Im confused because in a previous video you said that the Earfun Air Pro 3 had a way better transparency mode than the Liberty 4 NC. Which is it? Edit: I swapped the Earfun out for the Soundcores. The transparency mode is 1000x better. Honestly overall better.. if you can fork over the extra $10-20 it's worth it.
hey man, awesome videos. Great effort and fantastic comparisons. I have only 1 suggestion that I believe will significantly improve your videos. Since my #1 feature in any earbuds is the call quality, this is what I really focus on. You do it great with only one catch. The problem with your comparison is that - pls don't get me wrong - you have a bit of a nasal voice and a bit of accent. Which makes it hard to compare results when hearing call quality tests from different earbuds. (One needs to be quite familiar with your voice tonality and accent to be able to spot the difference in mic quality across different earbuds). Would be great if, maybe, you try playing a clear neutral-accent speaking voice through speakers and see how each earbuds receive that. This way you neutralize the comparison, and also ensure that the recorded clip is played at the same volume for every earbuds. Thanks again for your great channel and content!! 🙏

Not at all the sound quality and call Quality both improved a lot its just a software bug i have airpods pro 2 and liberty 4nc as well. Instead of airpods pro 2 i am using Liberty 4nc for my call, Song and for everything. It is the best best and the best earbuds of 2024. No comparison at all with the price. Hi Aaron! What if I asked you to choose the best earbuds specifically for video calls (cross-platform - iOS, Android, Windows) with a budget of up to $100...150 (the less the better of course:))? From what I have seen/heard, OnePlus Buds 3 seem to be powerful from the mic performance standpoint. However, I'm not sure if you have tested them for phone calls only or for video calls as well? Besides, maybe you have some other ones in mind? Overall, I'm in love with Technics EAH-AZ80 for music listening, but for video calls, especially from a noisy environment, they are pretty weak, unfrtunately. So now I'm considering having AZ80s for music and an additional pair of TWS for calls only. Of course, it would be much better to have a single pair of TWS that cover all areas in excellent ways but looks like it's not possible :) So I would very much appreciate your advice. By the way, from my experience, AirPods Pro 2 (USB-C) do a much better job with mics but still suffer in noisy and especially windy conditions. Besides, they are remarkably less fun (than EAH-AZ80) for listening to music. So having them only for calls for their budget is too expensive to me. Thanks for your professional content!

The best for phone calls are the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3, but the Qcy Ht05 and Ht08 Melobuds Pro are very very good in the field and yet they only cost $30-$40.

OP Buds 3 are better from a mic performance perspective than Technics AZ-80 from my experience.

Sorry but the realme air pro 5 are by far better at sound quality than any of these. They are dual driver so the seperation and isolation of sound stages is remarkable for price point.
