Okay, I have to dis agree with this one because there is still a no build game mode and it would become completely unplayable if the mk came back. I don’t really think many people would pick up combat ar over the org anyways, so I don’t think you have to worry about getting sprayed. If you want somthing that takes skill to use then the combat is great because it has pretty good range, so you can just beam people from far distances. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk

I disagree with Fresh. The Combat AR is more versatile than he says. It is a good spray weapon at close range, while also having good range with minimal damage drop-off. The MK-7 is a good and balanced weapon, especially with the nerfs, but the close range is crappy for the gun, the bullet spread just goes crazy, even when you walk or crouch.
Sorry Fresh, but I'm voting for the Combat AR

The combat AR is better than the Mk by a mile, and also the MK will ruin both modes, where as the Combat will make them more fair, and the nerfs make the MK do like 19 headshot, where the combat AR now has less recoil and does like 30 to the head.
Edit: I also don’t think it’s fair for fresh to use his “clout” to influence the vote, and I don’t think he played with the nerfs they gave it. I prefer the Striker anyways, but it’s not fair that the Combat doesn’t even get a chance.

When I think about it both guns in their own way like MK can beat tanks and are good to destroy builds but the combat AR is just that it has less bloom and smooth so it is hard to pick for me

We don't have a spray AR in this loot pool, so Combat AR compensates for this. The AUG is way stronger and better than the MK-7 if that one gets unvaulted.

Pretty sure the combat was nerfed but in a good way. There was less recoil and more damage for some reason. The mk has a dot sight but the burst is here instead. So COMBAT IT IS.

When he says the MK7 is “I don’t think I’ve heard a single person say they don’t like this gun” that’s wrong. I despised it, it’s pretty much just the combat AR but without the recoil to balance it, so it’s pretty much a blatant, no-skill-required weapon. Now to be fair, it is a bit better now the the legendary does 22 damage. Also the MK is plausible at long range, but there are better options. Also why do people say the combat ar shoots faster? It’s the same fire rate, 9. I hate the thing and I’m glad to see it gone. If you disagree with me, fine, I couldn’t care less, but don’t go full toxic or overly defensive and spam me with random death threats/comments whatever. I respect opinions but I don’t need to see attitude yeah? 👍

The combat ar would have been the better choice because we already have the red dot burst and people will just camp on top of the blimps with the mk and ruin the no builds mode. If you don't like the striker burst that's just a skill issue because it shreds.

The MK-Seven AR has been nerfed twice. TWICE! The Combat Assault Rifle has been nerfed by 2 damage, but its recoil has decreased.
HEAVILY. the recoil is basically non existant now
I actually prefer the combat because the mk has been nerfed 3 times since the release and it isn't that good right now. The combat is close range and so as the mk and the combat does more damage
But we have 2 smgs that combat is very common

The MK is trash it has been nerfed so much, so it does 5 damage less to builds and 2 less damage to players and its accuracy is terrible now, so it does 19 damage up close. Combat had less recoil and bloom and was buffed because of it. It also is easier to shoot with and is now so much better than the MK.

Dude exactly. I tried out both last weekend when they came in post nerfs. And by far the combat was Superior short to mid, and as far as long range goes the MK doesn't have it there either because the AUG destroys. The mk7 has been nerfed into bullshit

The combat ar is my fav gun. Mk7 we had for an entire season to play with but we barely got half a season with the combat ar. It feels soo gun and satisfying

Well the mk has been nerfed again and it’s literally garbage next to the combat which actually got buffed, it’s good long range cuz of the damage but you’d rather use the aug for that, and is really good mid range. I’ve loved it ever since it launched in s8. It’s also really bad close range actually cuz the blooms is huge which is actually the same for the mk. The combat is just a better mk honestly cuz the mk isn’t good close range and does less damage anyway, the red dot doesn’t really give it power. They were both in the game for a trial period and the combat just felt better.

First of all, even though i am a huge fan of Fresh, I completely disagree with his vote. The Mk has been heavily nerfed and it is trash for long range, it has insane recoil and bloom. The MK has been heavily nerfed about a week ago. It sucks compared to the burst AR. The combat AR would've been the better choice. It does more damage, and it can be used close, medium, and even long range. Even though there isn't a scope, there's BARLEY an bloom. Its literally the MK but way better.

The combat ar is amazing everyone should have rested it out more during the trial the recoil adjustment they did it beams at any range and the striker burst is superior to the MK anyway
As someone who liked the combat I would like to say it takes getting used to and is good for close and long range but was an AR and a smg so you get an extra item slot
It needs a recoil buff and more range for the MK to be meta also needs less of a damage drop off

To be honest the Combat Rifle is pretty good, but it takes time to get used to it because it shoots really fast, has a lot of recoil and somewhat descent bloom. Oh and the flash on that thing is insane like it is bad

Lets me say something, the weapons and items fresh tells us to vote for, are not always good, they just win because fresh tells us to, the combat ar i have used close, mid, and long range, the mk 7 is good if ur accurate but with builds back, your not always gonna hit every shot, they nerfed it so hard, it now does less damage to enemys, and builds, the original grey assault rifle did 30 damage body shot and 36 damage headshot

Yes we might have build back but if you actually thought about no build mk7 is going to be much more op than combat so I honestly think your idea might just unbalance the loop pool, so my opinion is the better choice and I honestly disgust the mk 7 worst gun too op even needed.
