Minnesota Zoo welcomes new Amur tiger after death of another tiger | FOX 9 KMSP

Three weeks after the Minnesota Zoo said goodbye to a beloved Amur tiger, the zoo has a new “paw-some” family member. Luka is a 16-month-old Amur tiger. These tigers are some of the largest cats in the world, and it's believed that there are fewer than 500 left in the wild.

Amur Tigers and Caspian Tigers are all the same population or the subspecies of Continental Tigers. In 2017 Earlier Last Year, Wild Tigers are Re-Introduced to the Caspian Tiger's Territory in the Ili-Balkhash Nature Reserve in Kazakhstan in 2025.

Dennis, Amur Tigers and Caspian Tigers are all the same population or the subspecies of Continental Tigers, They're almost identical in Their Genetic structure and They are quite closely, and directly, or even distantly Related, much like these Tigers in the Minnesota Zoo. In 2017 Earlier Last Year, Wild Tigers are Re-Introduced to the Caspian Tiger's Territory in the Ili-Balkhash Nature Reserve in Kazakhstan in 2025.
