pretty sure the main character is "you", but your looks were altered to fit with the universe, only thing you know that you are going to not make it out of there if you dont try. And the ending’s just gaining sentience and being aware of the recorder that people watch them from after their friends vanish because the short ended, but there must have been an error with nuggit. Though that’s just my guess.
That could be a good theory, chikn discovering the truth of his purpose, that his full existence its just for comedy to laugh about him and his friends' actions and him and all his friends are just clowns, TOYS and how this get him to the insanity (maybe) and how the game could consists about the 4th wall breaking. (maybe)
